Though the inFamous panel just ended, the real news came before the event even started. Sucker Punch has revealed that its changed the design of the new Cole; making the protagonist look more like he did in the original game. However, because of the games development stage, changes like these aren’t uncommon.

Many have been wondering when Sony was going to announce the release date for inFamous, I mean we already knew that it was coming this June. But, now, that isn’t the case because inFamous’ release date has been changed.

According to the PlayStationBlog, the game hasn’t been delayed, its release date has been up-ed to May 26 because the guys at Sucker Punch have been working so hard on it.

However, now with just a little over a month until the game hits shelves, the games’ pre-order goodness begins today, which gives you exclusive ‘Gigawatt Blades’ Super Power, a limited eddition inFamous costume for your Home Avatar, and early access to the official Game Demo on May 7.

We all have been wondering when our favorite anti-hero Cole McGrath would be taking a trip onto our console with is ‘electrifying arsenal of superpowers’.

Now, reports have indicated that inFamous will be headed our way in an worldwide launch this June. Along with the announcement, the official PlayStation Blog tells us that the game will indeed be getting a demo. They also have revealed that details on the demos release will be coming shortly.

They also revealed the box art for the upcoming game.

Probably one of the most ‘inFamous’ titles to release this year, it seems that the game is about to have a change of release date.

A rep for Sucker Punch Productions, has confirmed to the team at Blend Games that they’re looking at a late Spring release date for inFamous. “Spring doesn’t end until June 21st so you can do the math on that,” said the rep.

True, but it can also have a May release date. But, anyway this is a rumor, that it will so feel free to Juggle around your ideas of the release date.

As you may already know, most of the games on the PlayStation 3 have an installation time that cuts most of the loading and it helps you complete the game easier. But, just like other PlayStation 3 games, inFamous will have an installation time, but it’s going to be a bit different.

According to Brian Flemming from Sucker Punch, in an interview with Destructoid, the 15-minute mandatory install for Infamous will not be immersion at the start of the game.

Flemming had spoke a bit about mandatory installs, saying that the developer believes the first 15 minutes of a game are the most crucial minutes for pulling gamers into the game.

“[The first 15 minutes] is where people will transition From The world that they have into your universe. And you have this chance to get them and move them into your space, and capture their attention. And if you F*** that up, whatever you did in that last boss battle just doesn’t matter.”

Flemming continued, explaining that while they are still toying with when, where, and how to place mandatory install, “that 15-minute install is an absolute non-starter for us”.
