Sony has revealed some very impressive things at CES this year, but when you head over to the Sony boot, on the show floor, you will see one of the most impressive displays of 3D this generation, which just happen to be on the PlayStation 3.

“Don’t get caught up with specs,” the Sony representative told Arstechnica. “We’re not going to talk about specifications. This is just a look at what 3D could look like if Sony decided to move in this direction.”

Anyway, Arstechnica were shown Wipeout HD in 3D and they say that, “[they were] ready to whip out [their] credit card right there” and buy the system. But, sadly, the showing was just to see if people would want that kind of technology in their home.

Yesterdays, rumor of there going to be a new extended ending for Metal Gear Solid 4 was just exposed and was burnt down by Konami. According to the report from CVG, Konami has told them that there are “no plans” to release further expansions for Metal Gear Solid 4. Repeating reports suggested an alternative ending might be delivered via DLC next month, which just happens to be December. “There are no plans to expand Metal Gear Solid 4,” they were told, but “All further expansions are planned for Metal Gear Online,”

The rep states Konami plans to release the next MGO expansion, the Meme Expansion, in November. While on the subject, Konami is also putting out 500 limited edition MGS4 watches for eager collectors to go mental over over at Game Station’s online store. Which was revealed right after the “Metal Gear Online Is One Million Strong” announcement.

The game has been out since June and even if you had to pay for extra characters the game has been going strong since. And today Konami announced that Metal Gear Online, which is the multiplayer aspect of Metal Gear Solid 4, now has reached million members worldwide, which is a huge number. They also revealed that to celebrate this announcement they will be giving free stuff and discounts just for you fanboys.

During the Commemorative Campaign period of November 25, 2008 from December 9, 2008, all players who own a Metal Gear Online online ID and have access to Metal Gear Online will receive 10,000 reward points each. The 10,000 reward points will be updated to account owners on the last day of the campaign, December 9, 2008.

Player characters who access Metal Gear Online during the Commemorative Campaign period will also have a chance to be one of 30 people worldwide to receive an additional 100,000 reward points.

Today, at TGS according to Dark Zero, Konami revealed another earth-shattering announcement from TGS. According to them, Konami revealed their plans to make a new Castlevania on nex-gen systems, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Regretfully, next to nothing is known about the game as of yet, other than the fact that it does exists. The game was announced to the Japanese press by the name Demon Castle Dracula, which is the Japanese name for the series. Anyway, ITmedia has updated with this rather blury image, which tell us next to nothing about the game.

Saints Row 2 is yet to hit the streets and yet two of the games developers are talking about a third installment into the series. Designer Scott Phillips and Lead Producer Greg Donovan had a nice chat with Strategy Informer about Saints Row 2 and in there little chat Strategy Informer decided to ask about the possibility of there being a Saint’s Row 3, and Scott Philips told them that they will wait until players put their comments out for SR2 and collect that stuff and start working on it then, hopefully.

“We’ve got tons and tons of ideas coming out of SR 2. I mean, coming out of any game you know things you want to make better and in addition to that, we’ll wait until players put their comments out and collect that stuff and start working on it then, I guess. Hopefully.”

Breaking: Saints Row 3 Confirmed

Today, we got some information on the games D-pad control system, which is much like the system that was used in Gears of War. This system will be fully optional and it uses the left stick and right stick much like in any normal TPS, Third person shooter. This system allows you to strafe left or right, and manipulate the camera and here’s how it will work. LT will ready the weapon for shooting and RT will fire your weapon. While in D-pad mode you cannot move or you can barely move. We also can confirm to you that some old BOW’s from the pre-RE4 era will make and return in this game.

Microsoft may have paid for this game exclusivity, but that’s ok because not so long ago 2K Games revealed that BioShock will be coming to the PlayStation 3. Now, months later we have recieved news that 2K games have been planning a demo for the PS3 version of the game and they have aready revealed the date of the demo release.

Today, according to a update on the officail website for BioShock, the official date for the BioShock PS3 demo has been set for a October 2, 2008 release date. The game was also recently given a 5Gb mandatory install, which should take little over 10 minutes to complete.

LucasArts has many games featuring the name Star Wars, but what makes this game any different then the others? Well, for one thing the name speaks for it’s self, with a name like that you wont need any advertisements because it has everything to with releasing the Force. Today, LucasArts revealed that it’s recently release demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has been download over 1 Million times on the Xbox 360 via Xbox live. This means that this game has been downloaded faster then the 360 original, Too Human. In addition to the record-breaking achievement LucasArts has revealed that the demo been downloaded more than 2.3 million times worldwide to date on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It looks like LittleBigPlanet will be gracing you with it’s own bundle. Sony will be really pushing LittleBigPlanet as one of it’s top PS3’s exclusive games late this fall. It comes at no surprise that the game will be combine with a 80GB console system and will retail for € 399, which at this time in the currency exchange market would translate to $585.43 U.S., the system and the game would also be shipped with the Dualshock 3 controller and is now available for pre-order.

Confirmed last month in an issue of Famistu, Capcom has now confirmed in update on the official Japanese website for their upcoming video game, Street Fighter IV, that the game will be receiving two new protagonists. Black Box studio has revealed some new details for their upcoming game, Need for Speed: Undercover, the details are as stated from the press release: Need for Speed: Undercover has players racing through speedways, dodging cops and chasing rivals as they go deep undercover to take down an International crime syndicate. In an interview with Eurogamer, Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, gave the latest details on the upcoming Brothers in Arms game, Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway. The most stocking news was about a demo that will be appearing shortly. Unfortunately, the likeliness of PC gamers getting the chance to download this demo is a bit smaller than for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners. Here’s what he had to say:

Sony has just announced that God of War III will be coming to the PlayStation 3. There wasn’t much details given about the game but, since we just finshed with Sony’s part of the E3 Press Conference expect much “chaos” on the net after this announcement. Talk about being a bit money hungry, like Metal Gear didn’t make you enough money already. Bloomberg is reporting that Japanese video game creator, Konami has sued Viacom’s Harmonix studio over the well know game, Rock Band. According to the recent complaint, yesterday in a federal court in Texas, Konami demanded cash compensation along with an order that would block Viacom and Harmonix from using the inventions. Some may think this is over the top, but if you ask me this is one case i hope Konami does win.

PSMania, an Italian PlayStation magazine, sayed Level 5 is developing Dark Cloud 3 exclusively for the PS3. We where able to get a translation into English.

"One of our infiltrates, has revealed that Level 5 is working on a new Dark Cloud exclusively for the PlayStation 3. This title will come out in March of 2009, and will be developed using a new open-technology, the Japanese style "Kumo Engine"."

While White Knight Chronicles is the latest game Level 5 is working which is due in Early 2009 these guys are also looking ahead.

Sony has just confirmed to the guys over at Joystiq that the 80GB PlayStation 3 bundled with Motorstorm , is no longer being supplied to retailers. Here’s what Sony had to say "Retailers aren’t getting any new inventory of the 80GB Motorstorm bundle,". Yeah, that’s how they put it down, short and simple.

We just want you to know that this doesn’t mean that the 80GB model is out of production, in fact Sony is switching there focus to the forthcoming 80GB bundle that features a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 and a DualShock 3.

EA has told IGN that the Veteran Map Pack for the PlayStation 3 version of Army of Two has been delayed in North America and the Xbox 360 owners and European PlayStation 3 owners will still be able to download the pack today, May 29th.

Today, Ubisoft released as a part of Ubidays a new trailer for there upcoming Prince of Persia game, the trailers provide a glimpse of the game wich would be coming onto the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this holiday season.

Shortly after you won Skater of the Year, your character disappeared. No one knows what happened to him, but the skaters of San Vanelona hope he’ll come back. And they need you. In the past five years, the cops have cracked down on skaters. Caps were put on rails to make it almost impossible to grind and "No Skating" signs are everywhere.

Today, on the UbiSoft Haze forums one of the Dev where asked a question and one of those questions where “Will Haze have a mandatory install?” the dev responded by saying “You will need to go through a minimal install (about 4 Gigs) but not the whole game.”

The game revolves around Mantel Industries, a corporation that has bio-medical expertise. Who developed supplement that enables soldiers to fight smarter called Nectar, but it has an effect which makes soldiers no longer cognizant of the real battlefield environment around them.

The fans who were long awaiting Sony’s blockbuster, Killzone 2, will have to wait abit longer to finally get the game in there hands. Today, at a press conference held at PlayStation Day in London Sony announced that Killzone 2 will be available February of 09. It’s unclear at the moment if it is a global report or whether Europe should be the only one concerned with this matter.

According to an employee at UPS, 3 of the workers were fired for stealing copys of Grand Theft Auto IV from there shipment boxes.

"I spoke to an employee of UPS over the weekend, and he told me that a surprising amount of workers were getting busted stealing the game from the shipment boxes. In one 24-hour period, three workers were fired, and more interviews were scheduled for today that would likely end in termination."

Excuse me as seeing that We just came out of my Grand Theft Auto IV haze that we all have been in for he last couple of day and today we have the guys at Konami to thank for this wonderful wake up call. Metal Gear Solid 4 is scheduled for world wide release June 12^th

Today, UbiSoft sent out a release schedule, which stated that the May 22 release date was incorrect.

“Please note: Change to Haze release date is MAY release,” said a spokesperson. “Confirmation of the release date soon.”
