According to GameSpot, in a post-earnings conference call with investors, UbiSoft offered more detail as to how well Shaun White Snowboarding is performing in the market.

Anyway, in the call, CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that the title has achieved sales of 3 million units sold. Later on in the conference, it was revealed by Guillemot, which came as no surprise, that Ubisoft intends to release new installments in the franchise.

“You can expect more Shaun White in the future,” Guillemot plainly told investors. Unfortunately, he didn’t provide a time frame in which the next installment in the Shaun White franchise would release. Currently, the publisher does not have it penciled in for release during its current fiscal year -  runs through March 31, 2010. 

Ubisoft has this afternoon responded to pro snowboarder, Shaun White’s apparent confirmation that a second Shaun White Snowboarding title being in the works.

White had told Reuters, in an article published yesterday, that, once again, a second Shaun White Snowboarding title is in the works. Here’s what he said word for word;

“Now that I have the knowledge and I can speak to programmers better and I understand a lot more about what’s possible and what’s not possible, this will all help with the next game.”

But, when a Ubisoft spokesperson was contacted by VideoGamer.com this afternoon, the spokesperson informed that; “[Ubisoft has] not announced any plans for future projects with Shaun.”

While this maybe true, this does not mean that the game is going to have the title “Shaun White” in it, or that it is a follow-up to the snowboarding game.

Before we start the list I would just like to mention that this is the first month in what we would call the “Pocket Burning Months”. We call it this because in the following months you will start to feel a little hole in your pocket start to burn and by the end of this year you are going to need a tailor for your pants, but in an anti-homo way. I would also just like to mention that all the games releasing this months are mostly five star and four star games for all systems.
