CCP Games, the people behind the popular EVE Online PC game, today released the first trailer for their massive multiplayer FPS, Dust 514.

DUST 514, featuring first-person shooter and RTS-style gameplay, will interact directly with EVE Online, CCP’s critically acclaimed flagship MMO. This interplay between the two games opens the EVE universe to console gamers and gives them a chance to become part of one of the most massive cooperative play and social experiences ever. Command & Conquer 4 is just to directed, it’s time for some “title redirection”. Today, EA announced the official name for the upcoming iteration into the award-winning real-time strategy series, Command & Conquer 4. Scheduled for a 2010 release, Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight was chosen by the series’ dedicated fan base as their favorite name for the next installment of the best-selling game franchise.

“Our sophisticated fans are a tremendous community with a great love for the series. We really wanted to involve them in Command & Conquer 4 – what better way than to have them create the title?” said Mike Glosecki, Lead Producer on Command & Conquer 4 at EA Los Angeles. “We were blown away by all the creative names they came up with but the most popular selection, Tiberian Twilight, seemed the best fit, embodying that the saga is coming to a powerful and epic conclusion.”

Ever since April we have been kept victim by online retail sites posting this game up on their website, and to no avail nothing has been shown, until now. THQ has announced that it’s strategy WWII game, Company of Heroes, is finally ready for it’s newest showing in Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor. The game is set to boast tree new campaigns along with new units, a new multiplayer modes and a “direct-fire” feature, which is said to feature a more tactical control during battle.

“Company of Heroes is one of the most critically acclaimed RTS series of all time,” said Peter Matiss, vice president of global branding management for THQ. “With Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Relic Entertainment is delivering an all-new, standalone chapter in the franchise and continues to push the boundaries of innovation and quality in the genre.” He also revealed that the game is being developed by Relic Entertainment also that the game utilizes the developer’s in-house Essence Engine.
