Codemasters has released alot of racing titles, from DiRT to GRID, but nothing like this. Today, the team at Asobo Studios have revealed the first trailer for their upcoming title, FUEL. The trailer is done all in CG so don’t expect the game to look 100 percent like that, but this is one ‘open-terrain’ racer that you can’t past up on, here take a look.

You’ll never really know the experience of cutting and blasting dirt on a hill until you play, DIRT. The game was never really something you could of pass on because of it’s surreal graphics and it’s even more surreal sound which is more then a good thing. But it’s great to see that we’ll get a chance to witness surrealism once again.

In an interview with Gavin Raeburn, he confirmed that Codemasters will be releasing a sequel to Colin McRae’s off-road experience DiRT, which is simply entitled DiRT 2. According to IGN, who interviewed Raeburn, the game will retain the name of the late Scottish rally driver who fostered the series from its roots on the PlayStation before his untimely death prior to the release of the last game.

“Colin McRae was all about the speed, the excitement and the entertainment of rally driving,” said the game’s executive producer Gavin Raeburn. “Later his showmanship shone through in events such as the X-games, the Dakar Rally and the Race of Champions. He could do things with a car that no one else would and that’s where we’re taking the series with new events at the extreme edge of rally and motorsport. It will be a great tribute to an incredible champion.”
