Recently announced to be headed towards North America, Level-5 has informed us that additional content for White Knight Chronicles will be available in Japan tomorrow.

According to them, the content will be entitled “Futatsu no Hôgeki” and it is the second online content made for the title.

After revealing a some other important information about the game, they revealed that it is recommended for players of a level 9 and 46 minimum, along with that  they also say that the pack is completely free

Update: We have been miss informed, apparently the original shipment was 250,000 copies and the game only sold about 132,000 copies.

Original: This is a real reason why Level-5 should be celebrating. After almost a super disappointing review score by popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, it seems that the Japanese public really knows what it wants.

According to a Japanese sales list, White Knight Chronicles has sold almost 100K copys in Japan in just one day. And because of the games popular demand in Japan an emergency shipment has been ordered.

However, because it is the holidays, Retailers have been reminded that because it the end of the year sale will most likely be slow.

As you probably can see, this is a really big marking point in the console war - mainly because games really don’t sell by that much in Japan in one day. Which makes this a very strong entry in Japan for Sony in the New Year.

While 360 fanboys are playing the demo for the upcoming 360 game Naruto: Broken Bond, PlayStation fanboys are patiently awaiting the release of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Our friends at GP had the chance to go hands on with the game after receiving it in the mail earlier this week. According to them, the game will have a mandatory install of 4GB which will take about 15-20 minutes to install. As you may remember the game has the same download time as the hit game Bioshock, which was recently released on the PlayStation 3. The game is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and is releasing sometime this week so be sure to pick it up.

One of Sony’s upcoming PSP games, Resistance Retribution, will use a newly developed technology called “PSP Plus.” So what is “PSP Plus” and why does it sound like “WiiMotionPlus”? According to the guys over at Joystiq, PSP Plus is a new function that will allows players of Retribution to connect their systems to the PS3, in order to enable use of PS3 wireless controllers. Using the DualShock will enable dual-analog control in the game. In addition, rumble will be supported. Other games may be able to potentially utilize PSP Plus — however, it is currently a Retribution-only tech. And to answer the other question I really do not know why they call it “PSP Plus” it’s just the name, or it could be because it adds to the PSP.

Today, EuroGamer had the chance to talk to Media Molecule’s co-founder Mark Healy, he told EuroGamer that, “There’s definitely scope for a PSP version… We’ve had discussions and talks, [but] nothing concrete at the moment.” He then went on to tell EuroGamer his ideas for a handheld version of the game, “It’d be great to make – for the people who are really into the Create side – some kind of companion products that allow you to create things while you’re on the train,” he said. “One thing that I’d love to add is the ability to create you’re own music, for example, that you can import into the game. That seems like an obvious one to do and it’d be quite easy really.”

As you can see by the little information given there’s still alot of room for a PSP version of the game it’s just that the team needs a little bit of creativity to help them make another game. Hopefully there will be a bit of creativity and we will be able to see the game on the PSP.

Well you cannot have the everything you want. In the word from Doug Lombardi and Gabe Newell, PS3 owners will not be part of the update that pc user are now enjoying. 1UP have now confirmed with valve, that the update will not see daylight on the PS3 which is coming later to the Xbox 360 this year.But the question remains why ? Perhaps  they have no manpower of any kind to take on the PS3. With EA ”not doing ongoing development on The Orange Box” on the PS3 port. While this is always disappointing news can this or will it happen in the future leaving Sony gamers in the cloudy dust of no updates.

[Team Fortress 2 Updates Not Coming For PlayStation 3 1UP]

There have been many rumors of games making their way on to the PSP, now according to a dutch gaming website we will be adding one more game to the list. According to PS3Life, after games like Resistance, MotorStorm will be making it’s way on to the PSP for the first time. The dutch gaming website also reports that a leak informed them of this story stating that a British retail chain is calling for a MotorStorm for the PSP. Now, we are going to have to wait for the official word from Sony.

MotorStorm was one of the first games for the PlayStation 3 and it’s planing to make a second trip on the PS3 with MotorStorm: Pacific Rift. The game was orginal called MotorStorm 2, but the name was recently change by Sony, or something like that, into MotorStorm: Pacific Rift. Speaking about MotorStorm: Pacific Rift today they also revealed the box-art for the game (Just click here).

Due out in October for the Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3, Saints Row 2 continues to reveal it self to us through some new screenshots. Some of the screenshots are just as amazing as the trailer we saw sometime back, so we know that THQ is cooking up something good. In a scan from a Japanese magazine revealed that Star War’s R2-D2 will be a playable character in the upcoming Soul Calibur IV, which will release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on July 29.

At this time we are not sure if this is a console specific character that will be added to the game seeing the Xbox and PlayStation are very different from each other featuring two different character’s from the Star War’s Universe.

According to some analysts, Microsoft could lower the price of its Xbox 360 in the USA. The manufacturer is expected at E3 2008 to make the announcement, which will position Microsoft with a new generation console price that will exceede the competition.

Also the analysts thinks that the increase in sales of the PlayStation 3 – due to the success of Metal Gear Solid 4 – is the reason for the price drop.

Today Sierra Entertainment released a new video for there upcoming real-time tactical video game World in Conflict: Soviet Assault for the PS3 and Xbox 360.This game was released for the PC back in 2007 and this game is due on retail stores in Fall 2008.This video made up of real in-game footage plays nice self suding music with live in-game sound.

Sony has just confirmed to the guys over at Joystiq that the 80GB PlayStation 3 bundled with Motorstorm , is no longer being supplied to retailers. Here’s what Sony had to say "Retailers aren’t getting any new inventory of the 80GB Motorstorm bundle,". Yeah, that’s how they put it down, short and simple.

We just want you to know that this doesn’t mean that the 80GB model is out of production, in fact Sony is switching there focus to the forthcoming 80GB bundle that features a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 and a DualShock 3.

After putting the pack SSC Challenge on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last month, Electronic Arts continues to fuel Army of Two with a new Map Pack. The DLC will include two new campaigns modes, the first send Salem and Rios in a subway station where they must put an end to the activities of a mafia group, while the second puts players in the headquarters of the SSC Miami, where you are tasked with the job of dispatching Dalton.

According to Jeux-Video, a site reserved for press only state that Capcom’s Street Fighter 4 will be headed on the PC this winter. Namco Bandai has released a new video gameplay for there upcoming game DragonBall Z: Burst Limit. There isn’t much i can’t tell you (other than the fact its the final fight between Goku vs Frieza), your just going to check out the video for yourself.

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is complete with online battles, 3D graphic, enhanced playable characters, realistic battle stages, and much more. The story takes place from beginning of the Saiyan Saga to the end of the Cell Saga. The video game based off the popular anime show Dragon Ball Z, the game is releasing for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today that it will be adjusting the prices of downloadable content on the PlayStation Store for Canada during tomorrow’s weekly update. Canadian residents have been getting angry at Sony due to being overprices, and Sony is finally addressing it.

"We are continually looking for ways to enhance the player experience on the PLAYSTATION®Network, and downloadable content through the PLAYSTATION Store is just one of our areas of focus," said Grace Chen, Senior Manager for the PLAYSTATION Store. “We anticipate that this price adjustment will meet the expectations of our Canadian consumers and provide them with a better PLAYSTATION Network experience."

 ”Capcom was kind enough to send us a pre-release copy of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for our PlayStation 3. Surprisingly, just like Devil May Cry 4, Capcom also requires a 5GB installation that can take up to 15-20 minutes. Only this time, there isn’t much to read on-screen, and it’s pretty much pointless to sit in front of the TV watching it install so very slowly.

While we are confident that the 5GB installation is worth it, will this be a Capcom requirement for all of their PS3 titles? Perhaps.”

But When You Look At It This Is Not The First Time This As Happened Let Go Back To Devil May Cry With It’s 20 Minutes Download But It Had A Story For That 20 Minutes Of Waiting With The Picture But This Time There Is Nothing But The Loading Screen Which Is Okay For Me Because We Got Things To Do Like Pay Some Bills. If Capcom Take’s The ” Required Installation” Out Will This Mean Less Quality Of Games For The Gamers Because believe Me Lost Planet On The Ps3 Looks About 20% Better Than The Xbox 360 Verison.

 What happens when you mix Stranglehold and Max Payne? You get a game with a heroine that gives Lara Croft a run for her money (If you know what I’m saying) and that game is Wet.

In the game you play a girl named Rubi, Rubi’s job is to “fix” things and she happens to be really good at her job. So she is sent on a mission to bring back a Rich Man’s wayward son but she ends up being lefted for dead. Now she is on a mission to take down the man that left her for Dead but she is on the run leaving people dead in her wake and she is a very pissed off problem fixer (trust us you will not be sorry this game will keep your heart pumping).

Just imagine mid-air flips of ledges, running up and off walls, diving in to Slow-motion and picking off People.

Wet is being developed A2M and published by Sierra Entertainment which is not a bad mix. So check this game out coming out later this year for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
