Cyberconnect2 has worked on many games for the popular .Hack and Naruto series, but now, somehow, it seems that the developer maybe getting tired of working on .Hack and Naruto games.

Today, as I was going trough the pages of the popular Japaneses magazine Famitsu, I learned that developer Cyberconnect2 is making a new IP. And apparently the game isn’t similar to any of the other games that the developer has worked on, meaning it is not a .Hack and Naruto game.

According to the magazine, the game should be announced and released sometime in 2009. Also since the developer mostly does games for PlayStation the game has a larger chance of being on that console only.

While 360 fanboys are playing the demo for the upcoming 360 game Naruto: Broken Bond, PlayStation fanboys are patiently awaiting the release of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm. Our friends at GP had the chance to go hands on with the game after receiving it in the mail earlier this week. According to them, the game will have a mandatory install of 4GB which will take about 15-20 minutes to install. As you may remember the game has the same download time as the hit game Bioshock, which was recently released on the PlayStation 3. The game is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and is releasing sometime this week so be sure to pick it up.

Back in April leading video games publisher and developer Namco Bandai Games officially revealed Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Today, Namco Bandai officially revealed the limited edition of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm for the PlayStation 3. The limited edition comes packed with a deluxe SteelBook case featuring alternate artwork with a protective slip cover, each copy of the Limited Edition comes with an exclusive soundtrack music CD featuring 18 original tracks, an individually numbered limited edition Laser Cell depicting Naruto and Sasuke in battle, and two exclusive limited edition collectible cards. The Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Limited Edition will carry a suggested retail price of $69.99 and will be available through GameStop, Best Buy, GameCrazy, Amazon.com and other select retailers.

In a member Q&A over at the Hokage’s Room one of the members asked if there was going to be trophies in  Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, one of the devs for the game answered and said, “…we wont have the Trophy function in the game, but the in-game volume will for sure be a lot to do in place of it!”. The dev also so revealed that the downloadable content for the game “For the DLC, we’re planning on giving you exactly what you asked for; some of them are compelling missions and awesome support characters that you can freely unleash as you wish.”

The dev also hinted at a second game “…all I can say now is, enjoy STORM 1 and maybe, just maybe, we’ll give good news to our fans who is sure to get a blast from this game.”

Scheduled to make their appearance at 2008′s Electronic Entertainment Expo, D3 Publisher has revealed there list for the upcoming expo. And it’s looks like Naruto and Ben 10 both will be making the show this year and this year once again they are both Cartoon Network’s property.
