When talking to IGN, Hideo Kojima confirmed that he has several titles under development over at Kojima Productions, in which one of them he has wanted to do for a very long time.

When talking about the teams newest game engine, Kojima started to list all of the titles under development at Kojima Productions. ”First of all I can name Metal Gear Solid Rising – that’s going to be on the preparation list. Also there’s a new title that we haven’t announced that I’ve wanted to make for a long time – that’s on the list as well. And also a couple of other new titles we’re preparing now,” he said.

“The one that I said that I’ve been wanting to make – this is a new franchise and a new title. For the other couple of titles, it could be something that you always wanted to have. It could be, or it could be something else. It’s a matter of the timing of when we can get it out,” he continued at a future point during the interview.

The scored a 18/20 for graphics, 20/20 of sound and a 58/60 for gameplay. Heres what they had to say was good about the game:

According to the PlayStation Blog the Metal Gear Online will be available for download to you through the PlayStation Store on your PS3. Once completed, you will able you creat their own “character” for the game and customizable and upgradeable skills.

The Beta will support up to 16 players in a two maps (Blood Bath and Groznyj Grad). The beta is set to feature four different gameplay modes: Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, as well as Capture Missions and Annex Mission.
