In the Ultimate Spider-Man Universe, Peter Parker is dead. However, a world isn’t a world without a man in the red and blue suit, his replacement; a multicultural teenager named Miles Morales, a character of Black and Latino descent.

On Wednesday, comic book juggernaut Marvel released “Ultimate Comics Fallout #4,” which introduces Spider-Man’s newest alter ego — giving a glimpse of life after Peter Parker, and the events and future exploits of Miles Morales.

“He swings into action, kicks butt, and when he pulls back his mask, there is another face there,” said Marvel editor-and-chief Axel Alonso, who is positive about the new hero and his connect with comic book fans.

“When the opportunity arose to create a new Spider-Man, we knew it had to be a character that represents the diversity — in background and experience — of the 21st century,” Alonso said. “We have a president of mixed heritage; in fact, I’m of mixed heritage, this is just the world we live in.”

The multicultural hero revamp has been in the works for sometime now, but Marvel credited actor Donald Glover, who lobbied for the starring role in “The Amazing Spider-Man” movie, for the final decision. When Glover didn’t make the role, it sparked many a discussion about race, racial casting. Writer Brian Michael Bendis said that Glover’s actions convinced him he was making the right move.

With the release of the sequel soon underway, there’s no doubt that there’s going to be a video game tie-in. However, with the first Iron Man video game, the story wasn’t well represented. This is what brings us to this announcement.

SEGA announced today that renowned comic book author, Matt Fraction will be creating the game’s all-new storyline, including familiar elements from both the movie and comic book universe, for Iron Man 2.

Iron Man 2, the video game, allows players to truly feel the power of Iron Man with new destructible environments, epic enemies, and innovative hand-to-hand combat moves, as well as other features from the film and comic book.

Iron Man 2 will exclusively offer fans a chance to play against enemies such as the unforgettable Crimson Dynamo, not found in the film.

“Iron Man 2 presented me with the challenge and opportunity to work with both SEGA and Marvel on creating something wholly unique- a story that exists at the cross-roads of the comic I write, the film universe which I was lucky enough to be asked to contribute to, and a wholly- immersive interactive experience like a game,” says Fraction.

“A game presents an entirely new challenge, where the audience/consumer/player engages with the world, with the big and small aspects of the place and characters. They’re a co-conspirator in the narrative. I hope it’s as exciting and challenging to play as it was to write.”

According to Variety, Ryan Reynolds will be starring in his very own X-Men spinoff movie for the role he played in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool. 

Deadpool, also known as Wade Wilson, is a mercenary who is dying of cancer and he submits himself to the Weapon X genetic alteration experiment and he emerges as an indestructible semi-sane anti-hero.

The movie will be produced by Lauren Shuler Donner and Marvel.

However, in one of the endings of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool is seen rising from the rubble of a destoryed building and whispering “Shhh…” to audiences, which we think was a poke to the fans of the movie. 

After months of rumors, it seems that one of our favorite past times returns “due to popular demand”, but this time it’s making its nex-gen debut on your nearest marketplace.

The return of the title will be called Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes and it’s headed onto XBLA and PSN. However, the game was rumored time and time again, but Capcom hasn’t said anything on the title until now. 

In addition, it was revealed that there will be an exclusive demo on the game, which is set to release on April 30th only on PSN. 

Here are the details of the demo: Two-player local matches; Six available characters – Ryu, Chun-Li, Strider, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Wolverine; Seven selectable environments; Upscaled 1080p graphics; Widescreen or 4:3 aspect ratio; Two graphic filter options for character sprites; And other cool options to check out.

Despite an inglorious first episode, Marvel Studios was willing to move forward with development of the second Iron-Man movie video game, Iron Man 2: The Video Game, as it is know for now.

The filming of the movie hasn’t begun yet, but with a title like that SEGA wasn’t willing to turn it down. The game is being developed at the publishers San Francisco-based development studio, Secret Level.

The release is planned for something around the movies release in 2010, I can’t believe that I’m saying that, were does the time go?
