“We’re developing for Xbox 360, PSP and PS3 simultaneously, and the two consoles versions should have parity with each other. We don’t have a lead platform, per se,” said the developer, speaking at EA’s spring showcase in London.

Knight said differences between the platforms, such as PS3 coming with a Blu-ray drive, presented little challenge to the studio.

“[Visceral's] in pretty good shape as regards to that,” he said. “We’ve shipped a number of titles simultaneously on the major consoles platforms as well as handhelds and Wii and so forth, but just specifically talking about PS3 and Xbox, our tech is pretty well suited to shipping simultaneously.”

“Obviously, you’ve got differences with the [terms and conditions] and the different rules and menus and stuff that you have to follow… but generally every day I get a build of both versions and both work equally well every day. It’s not really a problem for us.”

Come on!!! After waiting for god knows how long, it seems that the one of the most anticipated titles of this year The Saboteur wouldn’t be releasing anytime soon. Just in case you guys though that it would.

“There’s still definitely a lot of work to do,” dev boss Tom French told VG247 in London this week.“We’re not even alpha yet. There’s little quirks and kinks, but we still have plenty of time to work that kind of crap out.”

Hoping for a shot in the dark, VG247 asked if the game was going to release anytime this year.

“We haven’t said an exact date yet,” said French. “We are getting closer, and we are getting closer to locking down that date. We want to make sure we hit the right window. We don’t want to get lost, and hopefully we’ll find the right window and the right place in time to get this game out.”

In addition, French goes onto revealed that the 2007 announcement of the game was way too early considering what had been accomplished at that point. Then he goes to revealed that “…people from Mercenaries and other games… [are] working on the project…”

I mean that’s what made Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters. And what should make the game any different?

Appearently, shifting from Sierra to Atari gave Terminal Reality sometime to work on Ghostbusters creepy side. When speaking in London today CVG was told by Drew Haworth of Terminal Reality that, “[Terminal Reality] added some more creepy elements, a couple of more puzzle elements… we feel that the combat is in a very solid spot.”

Ghostbusters: The Game was one of the most unfortunate victims of Activision’s merger with original publisher Vivendi, which left the game floating in limbo, until Atari came to TR’s rescue.

“[The move to Atari] allowed us to go back and tweak and see ‘oh, this experience would be enhanced here by adding more scares, more cooldown areas… – pacing basically. We also upgraded some of the in-game cinematics.” add Haworth.

“It wasn’t frustrating as much as our course has changed now,” Haworth said of the switch. “We were certainly happy to get a new publisher. After Vivendi decided not to publish the game we were surprised more than anything else. It also allows us an extension to polish and improve the quality of the game”.
