A big ‘I told you so’ just can’t cut it, but ‘I knew it’ sounds way better. So here’s I go. I knew it. According to CVG, LittleBigPlanet is currently in development for PSP and it’s being worked on by Sony Studio Liverpool, in England.

But, sadly, no details on the title were shared expect for the fact that it’s going to release in September ’09 and that CVG thinks that the game will be able to link up with the PS3 version – much like what they did in Resistance.

We could see scope for transferable levels, or a level editor on the PSP that would allow you to keep working on your creations even when away from the PS3. Sony offered ‘no comment’ on the matter.

Personally I wasn’t expecting to even see a LittleBigPlanet presentation at the Tokyo Game Show, but I’m very happy that I was wrong. Today, towards the end of the presentation, PlayStation’s main man, Hideo Kojima, took the stage and started talking about a Solid Snake Sackboy. Many of us where hoping for a new game announcement like a new Metal Gear game, but a cute sackboy is always cool too. Along with that announcement he also revealed that one of best video game villians of all time, Sephiroth will be making his way onto LittleBIGplanet as a Sackboy.

Today, EuroGamer had the chance to talk to Media Molecule’s co-founder Mark Healy, he told EuroGamer that, “There’s definitely scope for a PSP version… We’ve had discussions and talks, [but] nothing concrete at the moment.” He then went on to tell EuroGamer his ideas for a handheld version of the game, “It’d be great to make – for the people who are really into the Create side – some kind of companion products that allow you to create things while you’re on the train,” he said. “One thing that I’d love to add is the ability to create you’re own music, for example, that you can import into the game. That seems like an obvious one to do and it’d be quite easy really.”

As you can see by the little information given there’s still alot of room for a PSP version of the game it’s just that the team needs a little bit of creativity to help them make another game. Hopefully there will be a bit of creativity and we will be able to see the game on the PSP.

It looks like LittleBigPlanet will be gracing you with it’s own bundle. Sony will be really pushing LittleBigPlanet as one of it’s top PS3′s exclusive games late this fall. It comes at no surprise that the game will be combine with a 80GB console system and will retail for € 399, which at this time in the currency exchange market would translate to $585.43 U.S., the system and the game would also be shipped with the Dualshock 3 controller and is now available for pre-order.

According to Gamekyo, when seeing the a small part of Sony Computer Entertainment conference rehearsal, their almost certain that a new trailer of Heavy Rain for the PlayStation 3 with ingame footage was will be broadcasted at the conference in Lepzig. They also confirm that a new trailer of LittleBigPlanet will be shown and that Pete Smith, producer of the game, will be giving new some details about his game on stage. They also said that the conference will focus on the new SingStar for the PlayStation 3.
