Ratifying years of speculation, Activision has unveiled James Bond 007: Blood Stone, “an original Bond experience” based on a brand new script from Bruce Feirstein, known for some of the more “memorable” Bond movies. Though details are still unwraps, Blood Stone is said to include cover-based shooting, hand-to-hand combat and driving.

Blood Stone will also feature the voice-stylings and likenesses of Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, and Joss Stone, who’ll be making her debut as the new Bond girl. As for story-wise, the game will feature a brand new story spanning across Athens, Istanbul, Monaco, and Bangkok — with both land and sea-based action.

“Blood Stone captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond,” said David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing.

“In addition, the game will feature a diverse array of multiplayer modes and debut strategic objective-based gameplay that will allow Xbox 360, PS3 and PC players to battle as teams of spies and mercenaries through authentic Bond locales.” Blood Stone is being developed by Bizarre Creations.

Well, this just proves that the game isn’t that bad, like as I stated in the article I wrote. According to The Canadian Press, James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace is the second most rented game in Canada on both the 360 and PS3. The game is only second to Resistance 2, on the PlayStation 3, and on the 360 Gears of War 2, which isn’t bad for a movie game. The game is also number one on the Nintendo Wii in Canada. The movie was released two days ago in theaters in the US and was given some very high review all over.

Well, the other day I was watching Spike’s Late Night Strip and it came up with the question who has the better games “Tom Clancy or James Bond?” and the picture they had used was the box-art “Quantum of Solace” so I went out and picked up the game, besides the all bad reviews. And to tell you something the game isn’t as bad as they say it is. This is really one of the best Bond game since Goldeneye and this isn’t an opinion, it’s a really fact. The story really isn’t that detailed, but it’s good enough to keep you playing it from the time you pick it up. Compared to all the other shooters out there this is in the top 40, on my list, it even has a Multi-player that is just like in Call of Duty 4, but it plays just like Rainbow Six Vegas’s Multi-player aspect. Anyway, forget what all the reviews say go ahead a pick this game up or at least rent, by the way the review should be up soon and James Bond won.

When talking with the Quantum of Solace producer, Garrett Young, in an interview he said that he’s “not super impressed” with The Bourne Conspiracy (Video Game). When asked about what he thought of the Bourne Conspiracy video game, Young said “we did download the demo, we did look at it, like we do anything that’s new and coming out,” he explained. “Turok we played and other things that are new, we played GTA… But… yeah… not super impressed with the game… it’s always tough though when you make a game and you don’t have the lead character from the movie.”

Quantum of Solace, which is also known as James Bond: Quantum of Solace The Video Game, is the upcoming video game base of the up and coming James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. The game is the first James Bond title to be published by Activision, which acquired the video game license for the Bond franchise back in 2006. The license was recently owned by EA a video game developer, marketer, publisher, and distributor.

The latest James Bond game from Activision, James Bond: Quantum of Solace, will be getting a Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition of the game has already pop up on Amazon for $69.99, which is ten dallors more then the official retail price. James Bond: Quantum of Solace will be the first James Bond game from Activision after the license was turned over from EA. There wasn’t any other information given about the games Collector’s Edition.
