How come we haven’t heard anything on the game yet? Nintendo you sly dog you. According to an interview posted by 1UP with Suda51, the sequel to No More Heroes, No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle is towards “the very end of production”.

“It’s the very end. If I had to say one word, I’d say it’s at the very end of production,” stated Suda51 when asked about its progress. Also, when asked if it would be playable at E3, he said that, “No, [it's] not playable.”

In addition, when asked about the game reaching out and heading onto other platforms he said that if that were to happen they would fix it from that platform(s).

“Actually, a lot of the fans were dying to play the game on other consoles, so I think it’d be great if I could do it, but there’s no plan yet. [If so,] I would match the content to [fit] the other consoles. No More Heroes could be a big title, like a big IP, so it’d be good to have a chance to release the game on other consoles, and that would maybe maximize the market.”

But, when being interview, Goichi “Suda51″ Suda informed that all of that was about to change.

In an interview with GameSetWatch, Suda was asked about his desire to build a true open-world game, much like Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row. He acknowledged that No More Heroes was a step towards realizing his goal (or dream), but, as for the sequel, he said to “expect big changes for No More Heroes 2’s open world.” Which can only point to there being a more entertaining and really free “open world” environment.

He was also willing to give a little light on No More Heroes 2’s story: “In the case of No More Heroes 2, it’s just going to be one story again that takes place after No More Heroes 1.” he continues. “…there are still some heroes left.”

Even if the game is slated for a early 2010 release date the fans still would like to know some details on Travis Touchdown’s newest adventure, No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle. As you may already know, No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle will be the first time that Grasshopper will be doing a sequel. And since they wanted to do a make another game with Travis it’s just right that they do a sequel. The game follows Travis’s path of revenge and this time hes going to get really serious about fighting, unlike the first game. The team that worked on No More Heroes 1 is also working on the second game (same character designer, mecha designer etc.). When the team where working on No More Heroes 1, they felt they had one of the best teams for a Wii title, so they wanted to make another game with the team.

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 5, a zombie horror game, has been cut for the Games Convention. The game has been cut for the same reason as Gears of War 2 because of the law on violent video games in the country that the event is being held in. But, the game will be presented at another event next month, TGS.
