The first BioShock title was all about single player even with the latest re-boot on the PS3 stayed within those factors.

In the latest issue of Game Informer, which included some very in-dept info on the upcoming game, Bioshock 2, it revealed plans for a multi player mode and co-op component.

Detailed for the multi player modes aren’t thin on the ice right now, but we believe they will revealed the modes soon.

Earlier on today, we reported that in the latest issues of GameInformer it revealed a new rumor saying that they ‘think’ that Rockstar is working on another ‘full retail’ Grand Theft Auto title, Grand Theft Auto V.

But, with in due time, Rockstar was quick to respond saying “[that they] don’t comment on rumour and speculation”, or at least that’s what they told SPOnG. But, if I were you, I wouldn’t be quick to turn my back on this rumor because with the source of the report being unknown it opens up many windows, which makes us very skeptical. Very skeptical indeed…

I’m mean when you look back, before GTA IV, it didn’t take Rockstar that long to release another Grand Theft Auto title after GTA 3 because a year later they revealed Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

In the current issue of GameInformer, in their Loose Talk section, it reveals that they think that RockStar North are working hard on the next Grand Theft Auto installment and they have set an release date for this holiday 2009.

“We’re not talking about new DLC or a collection of previously available DLC, we’re talking about a full retail game,” explains Game Informer. “We expect this title to follow the suit of previous GTAs and use a subtitle such as GTA: San Andreas, etc. Tokyo might be a possible setting for the game, but details are non-existent currently.”

While this intelligence is massive for many,  if you look back down the road we may remember that when Grand Theft Auto 3 was released RockStar Games did managed to get GTA: Vice City in as little as 12 months. Rockstar Games also loves holiday release dates an they have released about eighth games launched in the holiday gaming schedule. A October 2009 release would allow around six months longer than was required for Vice City.

When the game was announced the forums went into mass hysteria and almost everywhere you had looked there was a new question about the game. And one question that had seemed to appear most was “if the trailer was in real-time?”, meaning was it using the games engine.

Seeing that in the first game every cutsence was done in that manner, GameZine had to confirm with Naughty Dog if the trailer was done in real-time. It just happen to be that the games lead character artist Richard Diamant who answered the question saying, “yes, it was all rendered real-time in our engine.”

Anyway, GameZine had also asked Richard about the cutsense to game-play differences. Richard responded saying, “the in-game models are the exact same models that are used in the cutscenes. They also use the exact same textures.”

What this announcement means that Naughty Dog is trying to make it so that “there really is no difference between them at all,” so we can expext a very good looking game from them.

During Comic-Con, which took place yesterday in San Diego, Activision comfirmed the development of Marvel Ultimate Alliance II: Fusion. Which is scheduled for PS3, Wii and X360, the game is currently in production at Vicarious Visions studios . No other information was given to us, sadly, but if you pick up the latest issue of GameInformer there should be more details in their Marvel Ultimate Alliance II article.

Epic has released another screenshot for there upcoming game Gears of War 2, the screenshot first appeared in this months issue of GameInformer. Gears of War 2 will take place six months after the detonation of the Lightmass Bomb at the end of the first game, Gears of War. Gears 2 is a third-person shooter video game  exclusively for Microsoft’s Xbox 360.
