Afghanistan is at the center of the media’s attention when it comes to politics. However, today, it seems that the topic has shifted from politics onto video games. Today, Electronic Arts announced a newly revamped Medal of Honor – simply entitled Medal of Honor – taking place within the present-day war-torn setting.

Inspired by real events, Medal of Honor reveals “the mission[s] of today’s most elite soldier” – his will, his mindset and his uncompromising professionalism. You see, the development team, composed of both EA Los Angeles and DICE, have been working closely with Tier 1 Operators from the US Special Operations Community to create the most authentic modern war experience, ever.

“EA has always been an advocate for telling the soldiers’ story. The new Medal of Honor follows that tradition. We felt it was important to tell the story of today’s war and today’s elite soldiers via today’s most relevant medium – videogames,” said Sean Decker, VP and General Manager of EALA. With that said, tune in to Video Game Awards on December 12 for a world-premier first-look at the new Medal of Honor, which is expected to release in fall of 2010.

Command & Conquer 4 is just to directed, it’s time for some “title redirection”. Today, EA announced the official name for the upcoming iteration into the award-winning real-time strategy series, Command & Conquer 4. Scheduled for a 2010 release, Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight was chosen by the series’ dedicated fan base as their favorite name for the next installment of the best-selling game franchise.

“Our sophisticated fans are a tremendous community with a great love for the series. We really wanted to involve them in Command & Conquer 4 – what better way than to have them create the title?” said Mike Glosecki, Lead Producer on Command & Conquer 4 at EA Los Angeles. “We were blown away by all the creative names they came up with but the most popular selection, Tiberian Twilight, seemed the best fit, embodying that the saga is coming to a powerful and epic conclusion.”

We didn’t even see this one coming, one of the longtime creators of Electronic Arts, Neil Young, has left the company for an "new project." I have never reported about some leaving a company before so i really don’t know what to say, i’m kind’a at a lost of words right now.

But, anyway just forget about me a lets get back to the story. As i was saying, Neil Young was working at Electronic Arts for about or even more then 11 year. He worked on games like The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, following that Young was put in charge of Maxis during the production of Sims 2 before being promoted to vice president and general manager of EA Los Angeles. When in Los Angele Young supervised Medal of Honor Airborne and Boom Blox.

"Neil Young has decided to leave EA to manage his own company. Neil is an 11-year EA veteran who has created a lot of great games and many good friendships at EA. We wish him the very best on his new project. Neil will always be welcome at EA."
