Electronic Arts has decided to preserve one of its more promising “financial suitabilities”. In the publishers latest financial report, it revealed that the release of Crysis 2 has been pushed into its fourth fiscal quarter — beginning January 1, 2011.

“We moved to the game to a better marketing window in the March quarter,” said Jeff Brown, VP of corporate communications in a statement to IGN. “This will also give the Crytek team more time to polish a great title.”

Holy Molly! Crysis, the beloved and beauty PC game from German developer Crytek Frankfurt, will be getting a sequel and, get this, its an Xbox 360 and a PS3 game also. Crysis 2 is the second entry in the planned Crysis triology and will be published by EA.
