According to <a href="http://www.destructoid.com/is-xbox-360-packaging-getting-a-visual-refresh--175610.phtml">Destructoid</a>, along side the re-reveal of Project Natal at E3, the console-maker may also be looking to refresh its visual branding in the <a href="http://www.gamercenteronline.net/tag/retail/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag" title="Posts tagged with Retail">retail</a> space.</p><p>Destructoid reports that multiple retail sources, including<a href="&lt;a href="> GameSpot</a>, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Kane-Lynch-2-Days-Xbox-360/dp/B0023CBY4E?tag=gmgamzn-20">Amazon</a>, are currently changing the &#8220;top space&#8221; of the box into the newer one. Along with that, the site also reports that sources at publishers and developers have told them that they&#8217;re seeing similar changes being made &#8220;internally&#8221;.</p><p>That said, if this change comes to pass, it&#8217;s not only a huge deal, but it may indeed be a bigger effort, on Microsoft&#8217;s part, to change consumer perception of its console.
