There have been many key announcements for Call of Duty: World at War, but what you may not have known is that mostly all the key announcements have been targeted to the PC and Xbox 360. Here’s what dawns the questions, “where’s the PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: World at War love?”. Yesterday, PlayStation Universe revealed that Treyarch and Activision where not planning to release any Beta for the PlayStation version of the game. But, this may not effect some of us because we can’t basically see Beta’s for the PlayStation 3 falling from the sky.

There are many key fans for this franchise on the PlayStation 3, but just because theres alot of upcoming Beta’s for the PlayStation 3 there’s still alot of fans that would love to get their hands on this game that own a PlayStation 3. Also what’s up with the Limited Edition versions for the game this maybe one of the coldest things that Activision has done this year. If you didn’t know the Call of Duty franchise started on the PC and was then push onto consoles. Maybe because the game did sell better on the Xbox 360 then the PlayStation 3 they are trying to push this game more to 360 owners, but as a fan of the PlayStation 3 I will just like to see a little more love for the PlayStation 3 from this game.

During the Japanese Home beta-test, Japanese players had the chance to enjoy rediscovering a few classic hits from Namco. But, not in just any other way. They got to rediscover the games in the Namco Museum Home, which features Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Xevious and three other titles which are still kept secret from us. The beta will came with trophies and other items to unlock for your avatar. 10,000 Japanese where picked to take part in this beta and they will start to perform at the end of August, start date of beta, sorry but we can’t get a clearer date then that.

Capcom has now confirm given us a firm date for the beta: June 25. The official blog has the news, and the instructions for how to grab this game the day it goes live.

1) Buy Commando 3 on XBL. Play it, love it.

2) In the Commando 3 menu, you’ll notice an option for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta (insert long name joke here). If you hit that option, you’ll get an error. Why is this? Because the SSF2T HD Remix Beta isn’t live until June 25th .

3) If you hit the Beta menu option on or after June 25th , 2008, you’ll be taken to an XBL blade offering to let you download the new SSF2T HD Remix Beta.

4) Download the Beta, and then you can find it under your "Games Library" under "Demos."

5) Start it up and commence dragon-punchery.

If you have a PS3 then your left for now for the Beta. Remember you must buy Commando 3 on XBL in order to particapaite in the Beta.

At PlayStation Day held in London, Mr. Colin Munson, Lead Designer on Resistance 2, hinted at the possibility of an open beta for Resistance 2.

He said that there definitely would be a closed beta for the ambitious FPS. While it’s still up in the air whether there will be an open beta test that the general public could take part in, Mr. Munson said it is a real possibility.
