Peter Molyneux has been promoted to creative director of European studios at Microsoft Games Studios, revealed by Develop.

Previously creative director of Guildford-based Lionhead Studios, Molyneux will now also oversee the creative direction of fellow UK Microsoft studio Rare, as well as other European external projects.

Peter Molyneux actually assumed this new role back in March.

He has over 20 years of experience with games Populous, Syndicate, Theme Park, Dungeon Keeper, Black & White and Fable to his name.

Rumors have been going around that there’s going to be a new “Killer Instinct” video game, that’s because of the many easter eggs Rare left for the fans to find in both their games and in the shape of cards for Viva Pinata. I just hope that Rare’s fans can handle this news because it’s true, along with some others games that will be releasing. According to a easter egg in Rare’s recently released game Banjo Kazooie, there will be a new Killer Instinct game and it is aready in pipeline. The easter egg goes on to say that, “They’re all in pipeline, you know. New Killer Instinct, BatlleToads and Jet Force Gemini Games. Even Ghouls 2! Oh, you’ll never believe that. I have ruined my own humorus jape.”

It was announced at Microsoft’s E3 2008 press conference that Banjo-Kazooie will be made available for download on Xbox Live Arcade. Now, today a Youtuber posted a 10 minute video showing some gameplay for the upcoming game for Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade, which was remade from the N64 version so that it is capable with the Xbox 360, entitled Banjo Kazooie. The game will come with a 15 dollar price tag and will be downloadable on Xbox Live Arcade on November 26. When this game was released on the N64 it got very high scores and it’s trying to do the same on the Xbox 360. The game is developed by Rare, which was brought out by Microsoft sometime ago.

Just like Banjo Kazooie, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise will also be getting a demo. According to a developer from Rare, we can expect a trail demo for their upcoming game, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. The demo will allow to play the first twenty-five minutes of the entire game, which is more then enough time for you to get the feel of the game.

Good God. According to ThatGamingBlog, Rare has a list of ten 360 titles that might be heading to the 360. Here’s the list:

As you can see most of the games on the list are rumored games, but we don’t think it’s a good idea to put Goldeneye 007 as a rumored game because in recent reports it gave information on why Goldeneye 007 wouldn’t be coming to Xbox Live. The reports showed that Nintendo has most of the legal power over GoldenEye 007, after all we did see video gameplay of the game on 360. So rumor I think not.

According to a member of NeoGaf, Microsoft, the makers of the Xbox 360, is planning on revealing new games for the Xbox 360 at MS Gamer’s Day.

“I was looking for the Banjo assets and I found some interesting folders at MS press site. Unfortunately all of them (except Banjo) are empty.. until Tuesday I think.”
