<p>The upcoming month of October is loaded with potentially excellent titles, one of those titles, absolutely, being <a class="zem_slink" title="Codemasters" rel="homepage" href="http://www.codemasters.co.uk/">Codemasters</a>&#8216; <em><a class="zem_slink" title="Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Flashpoint%3A_Dragon_Rising">Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising</a></em>. However, little is known about the games Multiplayer component, until know.</p>
<p>In a report posted by <em><a href="http://www.thelostgamer.com/2009/09/17/operation-flashpoint-multiplayer-detailed/">The Lost Gamer</a></em>, it revealed that the entire campaign can be played cooperatively; you can enlist &#8220;up to three other online Marines and take on the opposition.&#8221; Each mission can be played with a different fire team so don’t worry about leading one team through the entire campaign, which is a plus &#8211; if there&#8217;s quitters.</p>
<p><em>Dragon Rising </em>is home also to a PVP (<a class="zem_slink" title="Player versus player" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Player_versus_player">Player Vs Player</a>) system. In this mode, you can set yourself up with three AI controlled Marines and go head to head against a friend or foe. The game also features two other modes of play called Annihilation and Infiltration, which will see you and your merry band of soldiers engage in the ultimate wargame across Skira Island.</p>
<p>Annihilation will see both teams start at either end of the battlefield with the ultimate arsenal of weaponry at their disposal and then its a fight to the death with the winning team being the last man standing. Infiltration on the other hand will see one team holding a location on the map whilst the other team will take on the role of a covert Special Forces squad and its their job to take over the location. <em>Dragon Rising </em>releases on <a class="zem_slink" title="Xbox 360" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360">Xbox 360</a>, <a class="zem_slink" title="PlayStation 3" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_3">PlayStation 3</a> and PC on October 6th.</p>

And there&#8217;s nothing more creative than their newest title,<em> Lucidity</em> &#8211; which was revealed in the latest episode of <a class="zem_slink" title="GameTrailers" rel="homepage" href="http://www.gametrailers.com/">GameTrailers</a> TV.</p>
<p><em>Lucidity</em> is a puzzler/platformer that stars a young girl that goes by the name of Sophie, who lives with her grandmother, and is having these dreams. However, Sophie&#8217;s grandmother is getting old, and, in these dreams, they&#8217;re usually about her looking for her grandmother.</p>
<p>But, instead of controlling Sophie. In <em>Lucidity</em>, players command of the level, altering it as Sophie &#8211; who wanders around controlled by AI &#8211; goes around. <em>Lucidity</em> will be available later this month on Xbox Live Arcade.</p>

<p><em>UFC 2009 Undisputed </em>producer <a href="http://www.videogamer.com/news/ufc_2009_patch_detailed.html"><em>Neven Dravinski has posted new details on Undisputed&#8217;s</em></a> upcoming patch, stating that it has been a long time in development because the team wants to ensure it gets it right.</p>
<p>Patch details:</p>
<ol>
<li>We recognize premature match quitting as the biggest online issue and have taken steps to fix it. The Patch will have integrated code that detects who pulls the cable and will assign a Loss as well as a Did Not Finish to that player. The DNF is only counted for the player who executes the disconnection. The DNF rate will be displayed on the fighter selection screen of the Online Ranked Match. When disconnected the Winning Streak is also reset to 0.</li>
<li>We’ve adjusted Ranked Matches to match up players with better connections, which will improve lag issues we’ve seen to date.</li>
<li>We’ve adjusted the difficulty of performing submissions against AI opponents to improve the balance of subs vs. striking when playing against the AI.</li>
<li>We’ve adjusted the Flash KO rate so that they are less frequent.</li>
<li>We’ve increased maximum number of points awarded in online play from 99,999 to 999,999 and we’ve increased the Max Level from 100 to 200.</li>
<li>We’ve lowered the Winning Streak Bonus Max from 5 to 3.</li>
<li>We’ve removed the decimal places on the Leaderboard Winning Percentage so we only show whole percentages.</li>
<li>We’ve addressed the CAF cheat so the skill levels in CAF cannot be cheated and increased. Also any CAF with unfair point values will no longer be able to be used Online.</li>
<li>For PS3 users we’ve also fixed a bug that causes a freeze during auto-save; whichever controller was used to Press Start on the Title Screen will be identified as the main controller.</li>

<p>Retaining much of the same elements that gave the original game its luster, <em>Ready 2 Rumble Revolution</em> will not be featuring Afro Thunder &#8211; sorry fans. But, the game will retain its RUMBLE feature, which is a round determining feature that turns the fight around.</p>
<p>On the Wii the game looses its original button controls and now it will take advantage of the motion-controlled realism of Wii in a Wii Remote and Nunchuk combination, so expect controls like the Wii-Boxing. And what kinda &#8216;new&#8217; this game will be nothing  if it didn&#8217;t have new locations. Well, we should be happy it does.</p>
<p>The game runs at about 60 frames per second, and the game even has a more advanced Artificial Intelligence program. Speaking of, you will get the chance to test the Artificial Intelligence in the Championship Mode in were you create a player and go trough rankings on your way, once again, to the big Las Vegas showdown. With also have a wide variety of characters fitting for almost every player type.</p>

But, when the game was released on consoles it was covered with the signs of a slushy port. Now, Dave Matthews, the primary art lead for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, has assured that this will not be the case with the newest game.</p>
<p>When speaking with CVG, Mathews said that he believes the poor console ports of the first F.E.A.R., handled by Day 1 Studios, caused the franchise to loose some potential fans.</p>
<p>However, Monolith is taking charge of all three platforms this time: “Now we’re handling all three versions, we’ve changed our development structure to develop all three SKUs simultaneously and there’s no lead platform. While there will be some slight variations between the different versions, so if you’re on PC you can push some things further, our main goal is to make sure the experience is synonymous across all three platforms.”</p>
