When released on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 many of the games fans where very disappointed with the games final product. Also many Playstation fans where very disappointed that they wouldn’t be getting to play the game on the Playstation 3 because they announced that the Playstation version delay, leaving may fans inconsolable. Well, the people at Eden Games have been at work on the game and with the all the upgrades made to the game they decide to make a new upgrade to the games name into something that could heat up the competition, Alone in the Dark: Inferno.

According to the press release issue, Alone in the Dark: Inferno will stay true to the storyline of the previous versions in which gamers take on the role of paranormal investigator Edward Carnby and over the course of one apocalyptic night must fight to survive and uncover the earth-shattering secret behind New York’s Central Park. However, the new edition will fully complement the intense storytelling and unprecedented environmental interactions with an array of improved gameplay elements that will give gamers the ultimate Alone in the Dark experience.

Well maybe they should have just delayed the game all together. According to an article by Gamekyo, Atari has announced that the delayed PlayStation 3 version of Alone in the Dark is “undergo improvements”. The improvements will be in terms of gameplay, the games other version really didn’t do good gameplay-wise. If you didn’t know the recently released version of Alone in the Dark for the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii didn’t get nice review from many online journalist getting mostly 3′s and 5′s. We have yet to review this game mostly because we have yet to beat the game or even buy it.

A report given by Atari revealed has that Alone In The Dark 5 will be making a debut to the PlayStation 3 this November, the official release date is still unknown at the time. While this game was releashed not to long ago on the 360 and PC, which recieved mix review from the press and many alike.

We maybe a little late on this one. According to information given to SPoNG, Atari will not be talking legal action of any kind against anyone relating to the reviews of Alone In The Dark. Not so long ago German website, 4players, had published an article stating that it had received a fax from Atari’s lawyers stating that the site – by running a review prior to Atari’s requested embargo – was "breaking the law and violate the rights of our client."

On the 25 4players posted an update on the website stating the following: "The dispute between 4Players.de and Atari was settled today…… In a personal conversation between the two parties, Atari Germany’s accusations against 4Players.de in all respects withdrawn."

There have been a lot of controversy over this game (with it’s many bad reviews and scores) and now it seems that the game will continue to get more Contrivercial. According to information given to VideoGaming247, a playable demo of the highly Contrivercial Alone in the Dark 5 will be hitting online next week. The game was once called “one of the most promising games of the year” by many sites but, thanks to many bad reviews from websites like Game Reactor Norway and other ones such as Game Reactor Sweden and Denmark the game gave a very bad reaction to the press and it’s fans. We are yet to receive the game but, if it’s really as bad as it many review scores we will be reviewing it to tell you whats up.

We understand that many people may not understand how this game could bring about controversy, so i’m going to tell you why it’s so controversial. It’s too my understanding that Atari has been going around trying to defined it’s games bad review scores saying that ” Alone in the Dark was only sent out to” the game reviewer the day before they wrote the review, causing the reviewer to re-do the review. And by bring the demo online right after these controversial statements, they are building up the demo to be a very controversial demo. That’s why i name the article “Alone in the Dark 5 Gets Controversial Demo” because the intial impression of the game isn’t looking too good and a demo would give gamers to at least form their own opinion and expectations of the game.
