This game is sounding better and better each time. Ben Feder, president of Rockstar parent Take-Two Interactive, believes that Agent could achieve the same level of success as their Grand Theft Auto series, given its development is being overseen by Rockstar North founders Sam and Dan Houser.

“We think this has the potential to be yet another great Rockstar North franchise title….It’s the Houser Brothers and Rockstar North. It’s the A team working on an AAA title. I think the subject matter, the characters, the story, the environment, the background–all the elements are there. It’s such a rich environment to play in.”

When speaking with GameSpot on the Electronic Entertainment Expo show floor, Feder explained the decision to develop the game solely for Sony’s console.

“The trade-offs a publisher will typically make is, if you’re platform-agnostic, you get a larger installed base,” he said. “You’re platform exclusive when you get the right kind of support from first parties.”

Take-Two believes Sony will offer the same kind of support which made Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – all initially PlayStation 2 exclusives – three of the top 10 selling games of all time.

At this phase in the cycle, when you’re trying to launch a new franchise, exclusivity can really help you launch the franchise. It can give you the kind of platform that you need to start exclusive, start in the right kind of way with the right kind of partner. Exclusivity does work,” Founder continued.

“I have a lot of confidence in Sony. I have a lot of confidence in their ability to lead the market, as they always have,” declared Feder. “Their console is a terrific platform to be developing for, and Agent is a great testament as to our belief in what that platform can do, and what they can do with us as part of a partnership.”

According to Joystiq, Activision has confirmed to them that Guitar Hero: Van Halen is indeed in development and will release sometime during the second half of this year.

Activision could not confirm any songs, and only said the game will contain Van Halen’s “greatest hits,” as well as guest acts such as Queen, Weezer, Blink-182, The Offspring, Queens of the Stone Age, and more.

However, they were told by Activision’s Senior Vice President of Global Brand Management that, “… this is definitely Van Halen, not Van Hagar,” which is a plus since David Lee Roth is back with the band and they just finished a successful tour.

In addition, they revealed that there’s a very slim chance that the rockers might show up at E3 2009.

It seems that the over controversial war game has been given its third strike and you all know what that means – it’s out.

According to Asahi, Konami has decided to pull a videogame that realistically reproduces the bloody street battles between U.S. forces and terrorists and insurgents in Fallujah, Iraq, in 2004. The game is called Six Days in Fallujah.

“After seeing the reaction to the videogame in the United States and hearing opinions sent through phone calls and e-mail, we decided several days ago not to sell it,” a public relations official of Konami said. “We had intended to convey the reality of the battles to players so that they could feel what it was like to be there.”

Six Days in Fallujah was developed by U.S. company Atomic Games, and was showcased earlier this month at an event magazine specializings in the videogame industry. Konami had planned to put the game on sale in or after 2010.

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that video game company Radical Entertainment will be laying off about 100 employees, which is almost half its staff. The decision was made by the company’s owner, Activision Blizzard, to reduce the number of titles Radical produces.

“Activision Blizzard is committed to making the best games possible and has elected at this time to reduce the number of titles that Radical is developing from four games to two,” Leah Rubin, Radical’s vice-president of human resources, in an email. “Therefore, we will be proportionately reducing the size of our studio.”

Activision Blizzard said it would go ahead with five games including Radical’s Crash Bandicoot, and Prototype, a new game created by Radical that will debut in 2009. The reductions come in the wake of an ownership change last month that saw France-based Vivendi, which owns Radical, and American video software company Activision, join forces as Activision Blizzard.

After LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones and the upcoming LEGO Batman you wonder what other toys from the LEGO Universe would be making the step forward into the LEGO video game series. And well sometime ago Traveller’s Tales, the main people behind the LEGO games, announced that a new title will be added to their LEGO video game series and it’s already in production. And get this, the game will have an incorporating background songs by Warner Bros.

And when you think about it the most lucrative series that is kid friendly that Warner Bros has just happens to be Harry Potter. It will make the most sense to make their next title LEGO Harry Potter because after all the LEGO game series is mostly pushed toward kids.

LEGO has also made many LEGO Harry Potter toys and they have made alot of money doing this. With the upcoming Harry Potter movie coming it’s a great idea to do so. So lets just hope that with all this smart business cents Traveller’s Tales will be making their next LEGO game LEGO Harry Potter.

Well maybe they should have just delayed the game all together. According to an article by Gamekyo, Atari has announced that the delayed PlayStation 3 version of Alone in the Dark is “undergo improvements”. The improvements will be in terms of gameplay, the games other version really didn’t do good gameplay-wise. If you didn’t know the recently released version of Alone in the Dark for the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii didn’t get nice review from many online journalist getting mostly 3’s and 5’s. We have yet to review this game mostly because we have yet to beat the game or even buy it.

Dead Rising on the 360 was one of the first games to feature a few hundred enemies on screen, which was a surprise for all 360 owners. Now, Capcom wants to put that same surprise in the Wii version of the game, Capcom told Nintendo Power Mag that their main objective for the game is to reach the 100 enemies on screen mark. Which just happens to be less impressive than then what they had set for Micorsoft’s Xbox 360, but it’s for the Wii it’s a large number.

Fallout 3 is still yet to hit stores and news is already began circulating that Fallout 4 is already in the minds of the people over at Bethesda. Speaking interview with TotalVideoGames, Bethesda Games, Pete Hines, told them that they have further plans beyond this year’s hugely anticipated title. “The whole reason we went out and acquired the license and that we now own Fallout is that we clearly intended to make more than one,” claimed Hines.

“This is not something we’re going to do once and then go away and never do it again,” said Hines adding, “when that will be or how long that will be god only knows, but we acquired it specifically because we wanted to own it and develop it and work on it like we do with The Elder Scrolls.”

Not so along EGM unveiled the first images of Skate 2, which happens to be their latest issue. Today, we discovered the first trailer for the second version of hit series Skate simply entitle Skate 2, which is scheduled on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime this year. According to Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello, Redwood Shore’s, which is in parthership with EA, are planning to release their sequel to The Godfather Video Game, The Godfather 2, “a few months” after the November release of Valve Software’s Left 4 Dead. This was revealed during an annual investor’s conference, which was held today, when talking about the upcoming roster of mature-themed titles. If the game is planned to be released a few months after Left 4 Dead that means it could be released in early 09.

During the Japanese Home beta-test, Japanese players had the chance to enjoy rediscovering a few classic hits from Namco. But, not in just any other way. They got to rediscover the games in the Namco Museum Home, which features Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Xevious and three other titles which are still kept secret from us. The beta will came with trophies and other items to unlock for your avatar. 10,000 Japanese where picked to take part in this beta and they will start to perform at the end of August, start date of beta, sorry but we can’t get a clearer date then that.

Comic-Con was held last week and it seems to have given some ideas to Capcom and DC Comics. Ideas indeed… Today, both company announced a partnership for a comic book adaptation of the Devil May Cry and Resident Evil franchises. The details on who the writing and  designing are yet to be revealed so is it’s official release date. But I’m sure that Wildstorm, a privately company owned by DC Comics, will be doing work on the comics.

In a video interview Matt Shell, Marketing Manager at LucasArts, confirmed that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be will be unleashing a demo via Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network in August.

The demo will feature the special version of the Tie Fighter Construction Facility level, the demo will also feature very special powers and a special ending that will not be featured in the full game.

In a interview with GTTV, Ed Boon told them that “they will be revealing more information on the game at Comic-Con”. At Comic-Con no new footage of new characters were shown, but we were lucky enough to get our hands on a list of all the characters so far revealed for the game.

Talk about one of the greatest exclusive of the year. According to Sarcastic Gamer, this morning Bungie leaked explosive news, they revealed that this next installment in the Halo series. The game will be following the early years of Master Chief. In other words it’s a prequel that follows Master Chief’s first battlefield experience. Yeah, that exactly what it is……….

Bungie described the game: “A younger Master Chief, in the armed forces learning his way. Full of wonder, John has to come to terms with his military upbringing and being one of the newly christened Spartan warriors. John will come of age with the player. The player will be with him every step of the way. From his first day at school, to his first kiss, to prom.”

And that’s not all. Bungie promises 17 levels, 2 player co-op where the second person will play Cortana, back then a teen runaway, with a heart of gold, that joined the army before becoming the A.I. that we’ve come to know.

But, wait there’s more. Sarcastic Gamer also obtained a title for the upcoming game intitled, Halo: The Wonder Years.

During Comic-Con, which took place yesterday in San Diego, Activision comfirmed the development of Marvel Ultimate Alliance II: Fusion. Which is scheduled for PS3, Wii and X360, the game is currently in production at Vicarious Visions studios . No other information was given to us, sadly, but if you pick up the latest issue of GameInformer there should be more details in their Marvel Ultimate Alliance II article.

Ubisoft has announced that one of their featured game, Splinter Cell: Conviction, has been delayed for another time this year. You could have seen this coming from a mile away, after the game wasn’t shown at Ubidays or E3 you start to think that somethings up. This delay means that Sam Fisher will be staying in the shadows for some time, but will be out hopefully sometime between April 1, 2009 and March 30, 2010.

In a scan from a Japanese magazine revealed that Star War’s R2-D2 will be a playable character in the upcoming Soul Calibur IV, which will release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on July 29.

At this time we are not sure if this is a console specific character that will be added to the game seeing the Xbox and PlayStation are very different from each other featuring two different character’s from the Star War’s Universe.

That’s right, i didn’t spell anything wrong in the title. According to GameZine, at the Take-Two press conference at E3 they showed a short teaser for a new title in the Red Dead Revolver franchise. There where many rumors that pointed to this game being reality.

Here’s what they had to say about the teaser “Other games on show were NHL 2K9, NBA 2K9 and a Wii Dora the Explorer ‘game’. The presentation was concluded with a quick teaser trailer for a new title in the Red Dead Revolver franchise.” We are still waiting for official word from Take-Two.

Looks like what he said was very true “Even if you kill me, our organization will live on.” and you’ll be helping his organization live on sooner then you may have though. We have received news from a Sega that the game will be hitting on September 9 in the U.S., along the North American release date we also have received the date for the European release. The game will be released in Europe this September also be just a little later then the North American version, which happens to be September 28.

The president of Sega of America, Simon Jeffery, has announced that Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has aready sold 10 million copies around the world. The game is a sacred performance which combines naturally with both Wii and DS versions, bring gamers closer into the the world of Mario & Sonic.

The game has successed the 4 million mark which was expected by Masano Maeda. Obviously, with such figures the likeness of these two team up again are very high. So ending on that note, it really doesn’t look like Sega needs to try any hard to bring back Sonic because with Mario, Sonic can never die.

According to member on the IGN Boards, he was watching G4 The Dark Knight preview with Kristin Holt interviewing Gary Oldman, who plays Jim Gordon in the movie. In the preview Gary Oldman told Kristin with loose lips that there really is “a Dark Knight Game in the works.” In the preview he joked about a “small scene in the game about his character on a roof top all alone while Batman jumped off the building and opened his wings to fly away to save the day.” He also talked about how it will look when Batman glides in the game. The game is set to be released around the same time as the DVD, near the end of this year.

According to a CBC news report, Experience Hendrix has provided Activision with some of the Hendrix’s music for their upcoming Guitar Hero game, Guitar Hero: World Tour.  This will be the first time that Hendrix will be featured in the title, the songs that will be featured in the game are “The Wind Cries Mary” and a live version of “Purple Haze,”. An avatar of Hendrix as well also be featured in the game, just like Slash or Tom Morello.

The people at Grin where nice to provide us with new screenshots of the Comic/Movie to game adaptation of the film Wanted. Wesley Gibson, which the game is based on is a young man who develop fabulous capacities but is heir to a legacy of assassins.At press time it was not clear if the game would follow the plot that was shown in the movie or take the route of the comic book created by Mark Millar. Don’t worry all that will be given before the released of the game later this year.

What can’t they do these days. According to this photo, the people over at Media Molecule are making a Kratos Sackboy that should appear, and will be playable, in LittleBIGPlanet. This will most likely be true since they already confirmed that Killzone Sackboys will be playable in the game.

Kratos was also recently rumored to appear in the latest PlayStation 3 version of Soul Calibur, Soul Calibur IV. The rumor was then shot down by a message in a 1up podcast.

According to a recent update on the South Park Studios website, the brand new South Park game is coming to Xbox Live in 2009. Yeah we know it’s short and sweet, just the way we all like it. But, that wasn’t all the article stated, here you can read it for yourself “The rumors are true. A brand new South Park game is coming to Xbox Live in 2009. That’s all we’ve got for now, but stay tuned for more details over the next few months. Let the speculations begin!”

At Microsoft’s E3 press conference earlier this week, Microsoft unveiled avatars for the Xbox 360. The avatars are said to have a resemblance to Nintendo’s Miis for the Nintendo Wii. In an set down with IGN, Miyamoto sound very flattered that Microsoft would adapt something like the Nintendo’s Miis to their 360.

Here’s what he had to say about the Xbox 360 avatars “To see that a company like Microsoft has taken something we’ve done and kind of looked at it in a way and brought it out on their platform to kind of show that we’ve done has become the standard, I find quite flattering.”

According to GamesIndustry.biz, Swedish developer Grin is currently working with Universal on a Wanted movie based video game. The movie has taken over USD 192 million at the box office since release. The game will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

“From the time we read the script and saw the film’s pre-visual material, it was clear that Wanted was a powerful property – one that was well poised to deliver an engaging gaming experience,” commented Bill Kispert, VP and general manager for Universal Pictures.

Pete Wanat will work with Grin as executive game producer, who previously worked on movie games like The Thing, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and Scarface: The World is Yours.

According to Variety , Capcom is teaming up with producer Avi Arad to bring the Lost Planet movie adaptation to life. The movie is set to be part of a distribution deal with Warner Bros. Along with the news we got word that David Hayter , which was aready know by the rumor posted on the net, will be the writing the script for the movie. Arad will be producing the movie with his son Ari in partnership with Steven Paul through Seaside Entertainment. We are still waiting for officail word from Capcom about the movie.

With all the “chaos” on the web right now it’s good to finally see a trailer for the newest Ubisoft game, I Am Alive . In there shows someone running away from some guys who need water. The there was no other details given to us about the game at this time, we will keep you update as we get more information.

Sony has just announced that God of War III will be coming to the PlayStation 3. There wasn’t much details given about the game but, since we just finshed with Sony’s part of the E3 Press Conference expect much “chaos” on the net after this announcement. We will try and see if you can get any info on the game for one of our source’s at E3.

Sony may have "just began to scratch the surface" , but maybe they can make hole with. Sony has just announced Resistance for the PSP intitled, Resistance: Retribution.

That rights. Nintendo just revealed Grand Theft Auto for there DS called China Town Wars. There was no word on this game at this time we will keep you updated…….

Nintendo today announced that Animal Crossing: City Folk would be headed to the Wii. Along with the announcement of Animal Crossing for the Wii Nintendo announced Wii Speak for the Nintendo Wii. Wii Speak is a mic-like system for the Nintendo Wii.

Today, Epic Games revealed the official box-art for their upcoming game, Gears of War 2. If you don’t know by now, Epic Games is all about the amazing and everything attached to them is nothing short of amazing or in others words this Box-Art may win over the hearts of Fanboys a-like. Today, maybe all about Microsoft but, that can’t stop Nintendo at all. We got news that Nintendo is set to present a new accessory, in detail, for improving the performance of its Wiimote. They call the accessory the Wii MotionPlus, which is set to provide the response time of 1:1, which happens to be an instant.

This is not a rumor at all. Today at E3, Yoichi Wada announced that Final Fantasy XIII will be coming to the the Xbox 360. How about them apples, looks like it’s almost time to turn in my PlayStation 3 after this showing there’s no need for me to see more.

What a day. At the E3 press conference the today, Microsoft announced the release date for the upcoming Capcom game, Resident Evil 5. According to Microsoft, the game will be releasing on March 13th, 2009 in North America. Along with the North America release date Microsoft also gave the Japanese release date which happens to be one day before the North American release date, March 12th, 2009.

Rumors, rumors, rumors. They all fly around at will until someone gives you a straight answer….. and sometimes when we want the rumor to be true, they don’t turn out true. But, lets just hope this ones true. According to PlayStation Beyond , Gamestop has posted God Of War III for a March 2, 2009 release date, while the retailer release dates are not usually a reliable source of information. God Of War I and II released in March of 2005 and 2007 respectively, and Chains Of Olympus for the PSP came out this past March. 3 God Of War titles all in March. And so you get the point…….

Had a little typo just now, I must be smoking something……

According to Kingdom Hearst Insiders , a member of their community forums has posted a post stating that Square or Disney has been auditioning people to voice the Organization XIII members. And guest what, they say that the game that they are auditioning for is ‘Chains of Memories’ . Which was remade into a PlayStation 2 game titled Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories , which was released in Japan packaged with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix in March 2007.

“The casting people/paperwork are/is specifically calling it ‘Kingdom Hearts Chains of Memories’ and are SPECIFICALLY casting the 5 Organization members that I named in the article, all of whom were in CoM and don’t have cast English voice actors (outside of those 5 I don’t know if anyone else is being cast in any fashion, although I THINK those were the only 5 characters who are in CoM who don’t already have English actors from KH/KH2).”

This news was later called ” not untrue” by Neogaf Member Aeana, who is well known for her insider information. And unlike previous rumors, KHInsider actually believes this one to be true. However, it is still a rumor, and should be treated as one until we have official word.

Well, its finally here. The next installment on the Unreal franchise has hit the 360 and let me say its not one to miss. This first person shooter offers up enough to tear you away from the Call of Duty run you have been on for so long. Of course it is the same old song and dance with the usual modes, weapons and art style. What is new to the party is the maps and the odd attempt to change up some of the previous games modes to make them fresh and new to the user. Controls might not be as good as using a keyboard and mouse, but the 360 does a nice job at trying to keep the speed of the unreal games while still giving a lot of support to keep your eyes focused for frags. So yes the game runs fast and furious but not enough to make the game hard to play. The rest of the controls feel very good, with swapping weapons being just a breeze. Visually the game looks good, while not having the best visuals out there it does have a decent frame rate with no real slowdowns at all. Same can be said about the sound quality, with the only annoyance being that they AI likes to spout out one liners that are just terrible.

Fans of course will be use to the modes and game play elements of the franchise. Newcomers wont have a problem as well getting in on this. It has a lot to offer especially in the online department, however, the single player is kind of a failure in my opinion. The very odd try at a story mode, spanning four chapters with numerous missions in between. Modes consist of capture the node and capture the flag as actual events in a war style story that is just in poor taste. I know what they are doing in a sense, getting you ready to take your onslaught online. But it would of been best to just scrap a story and just make some tutorial levels. The saving grace in single player is the addition of online co-op which makes playing through the story mode more enjoyable since you actually have someone to help you out on some of the more difficult missions. Vehicles are back and in full force as well. Vehicles made their first appearance in Unreal Tournament 2004 and the roster has only grown. Of course the controls are nothing to drop your jaw at though. Meaning that you point your targeting reticule to an area, push forward on the left stick and your vehicle will try to make its way there, and hopefully not explode. It’s when doing battle in small areas that this can be a bit touchy due to the lack of movement. You also for some reason cant move the canon on the Goliath while moving which is kind of dumb, but nothing to be too concerned with. The AI throughout is very good as well, being very ruthless and cunning to keep you pushing and pushing until you finally over come them. They will flank and use all the tricks in the book to overcome you and take you down.

Online is of course where the game shines. The amount of modes and weapons is sure to keep you clutching your controller to get one more frag in before the round ends. the maps as well are a reason to keep playing. With the 360 version coming packed with all three of the maps released thus far on PS3 and PC as download able content as well as five exclusive levels. Of course they are all built for the specific mode you are playing but all have a very good feeling to them. The game runs very smooth and of course having XBL on your side your sure to get an easy connection with tons of players. Online is the major chunk of this game and it does everything right.

So this of course is a great online experience and is user to keep you away from the modernized combat zone for awhile, having you yell out MULTI KILL!! Every time you see it flash up on your screen. So go out and pick this one up and I’m sure you will enjoy. Hopefully we will be seeing some type of user created downloads to XBL for use to have another frag fest in.

Many rumors have been floating around concerning a possible price cut, and it looks like it’s time to give confirmation on the rumor. According to The Wall Street Journal, Microsoft will be indeed bring the console down to $299. And to add to the announcement there’s suggestion that a new 60GB Premium unit is set to replace the current 20GB edition will be announced at E3 later this month.

Now, that this rumor is no longer around I think it’s time that we talk about what you are going to with that $50 you saved? How about a new video game like The Force Unleashed you can aways pre-order the game? Huh…… I know you want too…….

In the August issue of GameInformer it contains details for the upcoming Wolfenstein a game currently in development at Raven Software (who also created the latest in id Software’s ‘Quake’ series). The game will be released on Microsoft Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 "when it’s done".

• B.J. Blazkowicz making comeback, this time also having supernatural powers of his own.
• Set in one large city, which will open itself up as you progress through given missions and quests.

• AI controlled local resistance, assisting you in fight at times.
• An alternative reality called "The Shroud", some sort of a parallel dimension fueling Nazi powers.

Not so long ago we reported that David Hayter would be working a deal with Warner Bros. to induce Capcom’s Lost Planet to the big screen. Now, a rumor has been spotted up on the internet that advises the Lost Planet movie adaptation will be coming our way in 2011.

According to 1UP, the Lost Planet movie adaptation will be coming our way in 2011, or in other words the movie will be seen for the first time in theaters some in late, mid or early 09.  Many rumors have been going around that the movie would indeed be coming to life on the big screen, and many sources state that Warner Bros. will indeed be the distributor, with Capcom and Seaside Films co-producing the adaptation in to film. But, for now this is still a rumor so until E3 there is still no official word on the movie so far, so we still need to wait.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is currently out for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

If you didn’t know by now, Sega is preparing another installment in Sonic series entitled, Sonic Unleashed. Today, Sega revealed a new trailer for that very game, in the trailer it showcases were sonic or werehog  in action around the city. Here is just some information you need to know, "….By day Sonic will be the blue hedgehog we all know and love but, when the sun sets, he turns into a werehog with claws and fangs". The game is set for a PS2, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 released in November.

Announced sometime ago, Dragon Ball DS has the honor today of presenting to us its official Japanese website . For now the website at this moment it’s a little cheap mainly because it doesn’t have all of the entries aren’t yet available. Along with the new site it comes with some new screenshots.

Talk about being a bit money hungry, like Metal Gear didn’t make you enough money already. According to an article posted by IGN (Joystiq ), veteran voice actor/screenwriter David Hayter revealed a deal with Warner Bros. to bring Capcom’s Lost Planet to the big screen. Bring Lost Planet closer to fruition than previously thought. Hayter told IGN that "It’s not entirely confirmed yet," he goes on to say "we are just closing the deal with Warner Bros. for me to adapt Lost Planet." But, unfortunately due to Hayter’s contractual agreements, IGN was unable to obtain more specific information about the film. Just keep E3 as an open window for an announcement.

In the article Hayter goes on to talking about his Hayter’s approach to adopting games to film here’s what he had to say "There is gap in Hollywood between people who write good movies and those who appreciate good video games," he said. "I’m fortunate enough to be in both worlds. For myself, I try to make an effort to take the essence of the game, keep as much of that as possible, and still put it into a proper film structure."

TheANGRYpixel has confirmed with local distributor e-Xpress Interactive a couple of days back that Soulcalibur IV will indeed not make it to Indian shores. Mainly because Ubisoft doesn’t believe in offering any sort of sales concession when it comes to Indian markets. When talking about the situation, e-Xpress has clarified that rather than haggle with Ubi and import the games for “an obscenely high price”, they elected to not import the game.

But, after Bethesda’s Pete Hines clarified that Bethesda / 2K would still continue to be the worldwide publisher for Fallout 3 on all platforms and would be in-charge of marketing and distributing them across North America, Europe and and Asia, many people may have already gotten a sign of of relief. But, there’s yet official word from them about the confirmation of a Indian release.

There was a rumor going around that Kratos would be testing his blade against Darth Vader and his secret apprentice from the Star Wars universe in the upcoming PlayStation 3 version of Soul Calibur IV. The rumor wasn’t so far fetched, mainly because in other Soul Calibur games featured players for different universe’s like Link on the GameCube version and Heihachi on the PS2 version.  However thanks to a podcast made by 1UP the rumor was quickly smashed , stating that Kratos will be absent from Namco’s upcoming game. But, there still is the strong possible that he could be included in future planned downloadable content.

Let’s just hope that they do included Kratos in upcoming downloadable content for the game because i know there alot of people who can’t wait too play as him.

A rumor has been circulating throughout the web, stating that Capcom could be bring one of there beloved games to the PlayStation Portable system for sometime now. But, according to the Japaneses PSP Game Listing for Capcom, Capcom maybe bring Devil May Cry to the PlayStation Portable after all. The list shows recently released and unreleased PSP titles, when the list it translated it says the release date is "To Be Determined". Could this mean that Capcom maybe planning to reveal the PSP version of the game at the upcoming E3 this month? We really don’t know at this point but lets just hope they are.

Looks like our chances of seeing Half-Life 2: Episode 3 at E3 have been shot down by Valve’s marketing boss. Sometime back many websites reported that LucasArts wouldn’t be attending this years E3 events because they stop working with Activision as a regards to the European market. Well, think again. We got news that LucasArts will indeed be delivering the force this E3 event. In addition, to the news we also got word that the collaboration with Activision on the European market was not on the agenda.

There have been a lot of controversy over this game (with it’s many bad reviews and scores) and now it seems that the game will continue to get more Contrivercial. According to information given to VideoGaming247, a playable demo of the highly Contrivercial Alone in the Dark 5 will be hitting online next week. The game was once called “one of the most promising games of the year” by many sites but, thanks to many bad reviews from websites like Game Reactor Norway and other ones such as Game Reactor Sweden and Denmark the game gave a very bad reaction to the press and it’s fans. We are yet to receive the game but, if it’s really as bad as it many review scores we will be reviewing it to tell you whats up.

We understand that many people may not understand how this game could bring about controversy, so i’m going to tell you why it’s so controversial. It’s too my understanding that Atari has been going around trying to defined it’s games bad review scores saying that ” Alone in the Dark was only sent out to” the game reviewer the day before they wrote the review, causing the reviewer to re-do the review. And by bring the demo online right after these controversial statements, they are building up the demo to be a very controversial demo. That’s why i name the article “Alone in the Dark 5 Gets Controversial Demo” because the intial impression of the game isn’t looking too good and a demo would give gamers to at least form their own opinion and expectations of the game.

This could just be another rumor that some fabricated, considering that the only reference is the classic "inside source" or in this case "inside man." But, then there is the fact that they have the info to back it up.

According to a post on the TheAngryPixel blog, an "inside man" told them that Dhruva Interactive has been hard at work, working on Forza 3. Giving confirmation that the third entry in the series is very much a reality and that we should be seeing a proper revealing of the game very soon. Now, that you think of it maybe E3?

TheAngryPixel question the possibility of Forza 3 being distributed on more than one disc, and there "inside man" was quick to comment.

While EA Redwood Shores is very busy making the upcoming Dead Space, they have also been working on a new game called The Godfather. EA’s CEO John Riccitiello was very nice to share some info on this game here’s what he had to say.

First it was "Blu-ray is the wave of the future" now Sony seems to think that the "disc-based delivery system will fall". According to a report giving by the guys over at Destructoid, SCEE president David Reeves said, at a developer conference in London, that the future is the PlayStation Network. At the conference he also gave some internal figures that showed over 40 per cent of PS3 owners download games direct to their machines.

"We do believe that the disc-based delivery system will fall as the power of the network base rises. At the same time, the overall industry growth will continue to go upwards as we push out into emerging markets."

While Eidos isn’t exactly in the most pleasant of thoughts with thousands of gamers out there, the bottom line is that we can’t skip on reporting about one of the world’s most recognizable franchises, Tomb Raider. Eidos Games has release new screenshots for Tomb Raider Underworld, their upcoming follow-up to Tomb Raider: Legend. EA games has revealed the next charter in the Need For Speed series entitled, Need for Speed: Undercover. By the sound of the game the first thing that may come to mind is that the games about a cop that goes “Undercover” to try and stop a underground racing circuit but, it’s not my place to give details about any games at this point.

Anyway, the game is being developed by one of EA Vancouver’s two Need of Speed teams. The Need for Speed team was split into two teams giving each team more time to give yearly updates for the franchise. Instead of having one team only 12 months to create the next installment, giving each team a full two years to work on the game.

It was hinted that the game could be inspired by movies, somewhat like “The Transporter.” With all these facts in mind this game may turn in to a worthy competitor for the Burnout series?

According to some analysts, Microsoft could lower the price of its Xbox 360 in the USA. The manufacturer is expected at E3 2008 to make the announcement, which will position Microsoft with a new generation console price that will exceede the competition.

Also the analysts thinks that the increase in sales of the PlayStation 3 – due to the success of Metal Gear Solid 4 – is the reason for the price drop.

In a new trailer released by EA it showcased B-Company making fun of our old friend snake, as Sweetwater so called spotted a man with eye patch in a barrel. Battlefield: Bad Company is a first-person shooter which features destructible environments. The game scheduled for release on June 23, 2008 in North American.

With the fact that Grand Theft Auto IV has sold more on Xbox 360 than PlayStation 3, a press release was issued by Microsoft which proclaimed that the “Xbox 360 generates more dollars at retail for third party publishers.” or in layman’s terms, Microsoft is trying to get there hands on Metal Gear Solid 4 for the 360. But, get this….there are using sale figures to get Konami to bring Metal Gear Solid 4 onto there system.

According to details revealed in the upcoming GameInformer magazine, Madden 09 is set to have an IQ test but, unlike the other IQ test you have taking in Madden games this one will determine how hard the game will be for the user. This new system is called Madden IQ. The test will be taken at the beginning of the game in the form of a challenge/game and jugging by how good or bad the player performs you will then be given an IQ score. The IQ score is then given to the computer which then determines how the computer will challenge the user during gameplay.

With the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 on it’s way, a rumor is going around that the original Metal Gear Solid might be heading to Xbox Live Arcade.

"MGS might be following its tactical steps onto the PS3 and PSP, via an Xbox Live Arcade infiltration. This is not too surprising, since the series has made its way onto non-Playstation consoles a number of times, and Microsoft even published MGS for the PC release."

As in other words, Metal Gears Solid maybe headed to XBLA but yet there’s still isn’t words from Konami, the makers of the game.

Call of Duty: World at War will utilise the Call of Duty 4 engine but the developer has also added various enhancments, such as the ability the burn down buildings and foliage.  The game takes place primarily in the pacific, with the US forces fighting Imperial Japan.  Frank Kearsy, military advisor and Gulf War Veteran, has made sure that the way the Japanse fight is both tenacious and shocking.

You’ll also be fighting as the Russians, who are invading Germany.  With the Nazi forces on the back foot they will start fighting even more ferociously in an attempt to defend their strongholds such as in Berlin.  There is also a new party system that will allow the leader to issue commands to his troops in single player.

Mutliplayer perks are also back, including some of the favorites from Call of Duty 4, but there will also be new ones that better suit the time period.  The game also features new weapons for the series, such as the flamethrower, which according to OXM, can melt the skin off of your enemies and set ablaze grass and wooden buildings.  You are also able to shoot throw materials depending on the strength of the material.

Treyarch is promising that this new insentient element of Call of Duty will be the darkest one yet and are dedicated to making the best game they can.  They have had two years of development time, rather than the 11 months they had for Call of Duty 3.  And this time they have specific teams working on all the different versions, with the Xbox 360 version acting as the lead.

According to producer Patrick Aiello, Ryu and Ken will not be featured in the latest Street Fighter movie. Here’s what he had to say:

Namco Bandai  has revealed new screenshots of there newest character for Soulcalibur IV, Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice. The Secret Apprentice will join other character from the star wars like Yoda and Darth Vader in the upcoming Soulcalibur game. You will be able to play as the Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice on the PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, PS2, Nintendo DS and Wii.

Sources tell us that today, Activision has confirmed at a conference that after the release of another Guitar Hero game is set to be made, Guitar Hero: Metallica. Metallica is a legendary hard rock group led by James Hetfield and Kirk Hammet. The game was announced for the arrival by the end of the current fiscal year, before March 31, 2009.

Konami has released new images the European Metal Gear Solid 4 limited edition on PlayStation 3, which contains in addition to the game a making-of Blu-ray, the original soundtrack and a Old Snake 20 cm action figurine. There will be only 25.000 unit, this pack will leave June 12 and will cost 100 euros (155.19 U.S. dollars).

Announced for November 2008 by Microsoft, today we can assure you that Gears of War 2 leaves precisely to Europe on 17 of November. Also if you can’t wait to get your hands on Microsoft Games Too Human in Europe, you’ll be getting your hands on the game in current August, August 2008.

As of now there is no official North American release date for Gears of War 2  but it’s rumored for a November 16 release window .

After Nintendo’s surprise announcement of Wario Land Shake for the Wii, new details have just poped up on the web.

Wario’s latest adventure looks like it’s being designed with both casual and hardcore gamers in mind. A side-scrolling platformer, the game makes use of 2D artwork to depict its characters and stages. The game promises a total of 20 stages, taking you through all the expected environments, including jungles, deserts, and caves.

Controls have been kept simple, with the Wiimote held horizontally and most of the action controlled with the D-pad and the 1 and 2 buttons. Nintendo is including some waggle controls as well. Shake the Wiimote up and down, and you can make Wario perform a few extra moves, like shaking coins free from an enemy you’ve grabbed onto. The Wiimote can also be tilted to control vehicles.

EA has told IGN that the Veteran Map Pack for the PlayStation 3 version of Army of Two has been delayed in North America and the Xbox 360 owners and European PlayStation 3 owners will still be able to download the pack today, May 29th.

Ubisoft has confirmed with CVG that a demo for Tom Clancy’s: EndWar will be hitting this year on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The demo will precede two closed beta tests that will give Ubisoft the opportunity to make sure the game is properly balanced.

Ubisoft content director Julian told CVG that “We’ve balanced it fairly well, but we’re doing two different beta tests – one limited and one much much bigger.”

“And then a demo where we’re going to be able to balance on the results. We’re doing a playtest with professional gamers to make sure there are as few exploits as possible before launch.”

New scans found on the web reveals the new characters for Gears of War 2, the scans come from a Japanese magazine.

Gears of War takes place on Sera, a planet inhabited by humans, who have warred over a phosphorescent, low-viscosity fluid known as "Imulsion" highly valued as a source of energy. Over several decades, the Pendulum Wars took place between various human countries, and ended with the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG) taking control of the planet.

Reports this morning tell us that THQ’s Saints Row 2 has now been delayed unlit Oct. 14 becuase of product quality and marketing considerations. The game had a previous date of August 26 but as you see there has been problems with the games marketing considerations. There has been no other information giving about the games delay at this time.

Today, Ubisoft released as a part of Ubidays a new trailer for there upcoming Prince of Persia game, the trailers provide a glimpse of the game wich would be coming onto the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this holiday season.

Ubisoft has just finished the opening day of the Ubidays conference and the has not been a single word about Splinter Cell Conviction. The evidence does suggests that Ubisoft planned to show the game during the event. The Ubidays event was the ideal time to slip in a few words on the upcoming Splinter Cell. Could this mean that the rumors going around happen to be real?

Looks like good things are coming out of Ubidays 08 this year because today Ubisoft finally announced Beyond Good & Evil 2. In the trailer you find Jade, the main character, sitting on top of a car and the pig is sleeping the under the sun by a tree. There was no other details given about the game at this time.

After putting the pack SSC Challenge on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last month, Electronic Arts continues to fuel Army of Two with a new Map Pack. The DLC will include two new campaigns modes, the first send Salem and Rios in a subway station where they must put an end to the activities of a mafia group, while the second puts players in the headquarters of the SSC Miami, where you are tasked with the job of dispatching Dalton.

Even if it’s difficult for Evolution Studios surprise twice in a row with MotorStorm: Pacific Rift they still find away to do it with these screenshots. The interactivity of the environments pushes the power of the PlayStation 3, bring new blood to a franchise. It has been confirmed that the game is set for a late 2008 release.

Unscripted 360 spoke with EA Montreal earlier this week and told them that fans should expect new campaign maps for Army of Two very soon. They also where told that the demo will be coming at a good price, FREE. There wasn’t many other details giving about the games DLC so just keep an eye out for more information.

Activision has done World War 2 and Modern Warfare now it’s time for a new type of Warfare, Futuristic Warfare. It is rumored that Call of Duty 5 will take place in the future, if this rumor ends up being true Call of Duty 5 will be joining games like Gears of War, Resistance, Killzone and Halo.

Could this mean that Activision is trying to continue to dominate the other shooting genres? Only time can tell.
