has achieved both critical and commercial success — its, undoubtedly, one of the industries most “unexpected” breakout hits. Though we’re still awaiting the next downloadable expansion, the development team at Quantic Dream have announced an update giving Heavy Rain” support.

As previously stated, Heavy Rain was initially designed for use with the PlayStation Move, but the game ended up being ready for market long before the motion control device was released. However, there hasn’t been any word on the exact release date for the updated, but Move will go on sale this coming September.

Released in February, Heavy Rain is a dark and utterly absorbing thriller where you set the rules and where the buck stops with you. With a killer on the loose and time running out, you must decide how far you’ll go to track him down. Since its launch, Heavy Rain has sold over a million copies.

oh and have you heard about this thing called an eyetoy? It was ths little camera that went under your T.V and allowed you to play games without a controller, that was a peripheral for the PS2, how long ago was that exactly? and yes I realise that makinga logical argumet with you is pointless

I'll give you that, but it's still more advanced. I am not saying Kinect is gonna be the wave of the future, but neither is Move. Kinect really can't do FPS's or anything requires you to walk around. But also, Move will not be near as accurate I am willing to bet. Given that Kinect basically uses stereoscopic vision, it can sense depth far better than one camera. Also, fighting games will be far easier to do on Kinect, as it will be able to track movements far better. Wii set the bar, and Xbox and PS3 are raising it. Yes, there is going to be shovelware, but that's a given.

Even though it won't happen, if Sony and Microsoft could put aside the console war, and develop something that used both the stereoscopic motion capture, and used the “wands” for aiming, or holding a sword and shield, it would be absolutely fucking fantastic.

If the Kinect can't do FPS's then it's doomed. That's the only kind of game there is for the 360. Pew pew!
