There’s hasn’t been any solid information given about Nintendo’s upcoming handheld device, the 3DS. And, though Nintendo hasn’t revealed anything, according to a group of developers, in order to produce the stereoscopic 3D effects needed for the device, the system must have the graphical “horsepower” of current generation consoles.
“Several developers that have experienced 3DS in its current form have reported, off the record, that it has processing capabilities that far exceed the Nintendo Wii and bring the device with abilities that are close to HD consoles such as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360,” reveals an the article on IGN.
If this is the case, it’s possible Nintendo is looking to surpass the visual power of PSP and iPad. But, on the other hard, there’s another strong rumor suggesting that Sony’s to take a significant leap forward with the next PSP.
