Silent Hill Movie Getting Sequel
Screenwriter Roger Avary and producer Samuel Hadida have signed on for the sequel to their 2006 video game adaptation, Silent Hill reports TheHollywoodReporter . The original movie, based on the hit Konami title, centered on a woman who travels to a desolate town seeking help for her ailing daughter only find supernatural occurrences taking place in the town.
Roger Avery, best known for the script in Pulp Fiction, is also penning video game adaptation “Return to Castle Wolfenstein “. The Silent Hell movie deal is one of several projects under Samuel Hadida’s company. In which Hadida counts Resident Evil , “Good Night, and Good Luck ” and “The Rules of Attraction ” under his belt.
