During the end beginning of the second third fourth quarter of the Eastern Conference Final millions of fans and gamers were left at the edge of their seats with this very 2 trailer.

“Everyone on the team is focused on making the most gripping experience we’ve ever created,” said ’s CEO, Vince Zampella when the title was announced. “No detail is too small and every finishing touch imaginable is underway to make our best ever. We can’t wait for our fans around the world to play starting November 10th.”

    What a disappointment! For the past few months, or ever since the initial teaser trailer was released I’ve been waiting for today, MAY 24 for the big reveal! And then here it is, simply another trailer with absolutely NO gameplay footage whatsoever.

    Is is it a great trailer? Absolutely! Was it what I’ve been eagerly awaiting? Absolutely NOT! At the very least I was hoping to see a few clips of gameplay action. All in all not impressed.

    @Jeremy Every developer will have there chance to show what they have at E3. However, I understand your predicament, but like I was told, don’t put all your pennies into one slot. There’s lots of other good games out there.

    with the date still quiet a ways off, it’s no surprise that they haven’t put in any gameplay fotage, they are still doing alpha testing more likely than not. like Kemuel said, E3 is coming up and Infinity is just preparing us for what they will be dishing out at E3.

    Actually at 1:29 if you look in the upper left hand corner you see “CHECKPOINT REACHED”. So there’s your gameplay. Also I’m pretty sure the sled scene at 1:26 is also gameplay footage.

    @Jeremy no ingame footage? Theres tonnes… I mean it even says checkpoint reached at 1:29. Also its quite obviously gameplay just from looking at it :S

    If you pay attention instead of preparing to complain, you’d notice that there was a “checkpoint reached” notification on one of the clips.

    I’d say it was gameplay footage.

    At 1:29 there is a glimpse of some in game action. But i think we should trust infinity ward to give us an awesome game. Something finally better then cod4.

    i admit i was abit disapointed but this is what alot have 1st person shooters have been hyped up and i think this will be a great 1

    @Jeremy If you stop flaming and pay attention, one of the clips says checkpoint reached. I don’t think cutscenes or cinematics have checkpoints, asshole.

    wow this is bullsht.
    I hate teaser trailers and this has NO gameplay footage.Whats the point? Cutscenes are for people who would rather be watching movies.

    Its a dramatic trailer, there is minor gameplay in it but now im looking really forward to. Maybe if they make another trailer theyll be loads more gameplay.

    Why don’t you stop whining and actually think before talking bullshit. This trailer is obviously 100% in-game footage it looks really promising and knowing Infinity Ward it cannot be bad. Ok there’s not much gameplay but it doesn’t mean the game is gonna suck. All in all I don’t think it’s a disapointment… they are building up the hype which is totally normal.

    WOW! I knew that being the first person to comment on the trailer and that it was a negative comment that I’d receive some flak but wow.

    I’ll admit I missed the ‘checkpoint reached’ part of the snowmobile scene but had a feeling that was gameplay. I watched the trailer a few times and there are a few scenes that look like they are ‘gameplay footage’ but what they appear to be are the cutscenes at the end of a level or the cinematics presented when reaching a significant checkpoint -> (Rohan R) believe it or not there are cutscenes during gameplay, I believe that’s the exact definition of what a cutscene is “asshole”..thx for that comment.

    To clarify what I was referring to as gameplay was starring down the barrell of a gun while firing at enemies.

    No doubt E3 will be their time to showcase the new game and I’ll be anxiously awaiting the E3 footage (not just for MW 2 but the new BioShock looks amazing as well).

    there is some gameplay, but i wouldn’t expect much actual gameplay this early.

    This would be their target render.. it’s probably in game (but from cinematic camera angles and not first-person).

    Looks good though, hopefully in-game looks that good too :)

    it looks good. i wonder if theyre going to bring back thegolden guns and the skins for the guns. call of duty 5 was dissapointing

    anyone who didn’t acctually see the gameplay footage needs to pay more attention. oh and stop complaining that its not 2 minutes of gameplay, the last game had great everything, this one obviously will compare nicely just buy what they show in the short clips.

    I’m sick of this cutscene BULLSHIT. When will the publishers realize that these advertisements don’t mean shit to me or anyone else that actually wants to play the game.

    Alright, so here it is…the last comment (and it’s a good one so relax).

    As it is June 3rd and E3 is upon us I am now officially satisfied. If you haven’t already seen it, you must check out the gameplay footage recorded at one of the many press conferences recently.

    Let’s just say, it’s enough to make you fall in love all over again…this game (to the dismay of my g/f) will consume my life.
