Announced all the way back at E3, its seems that the development of I Am Alive isn’t going as UbiSoft planned – besides the recent reported delay.
In reports yesterday, it was revealed that UbiSoft has changed I Am Alive’s development team from Darkworks to UbiSoft Shanghai.
UbiSoft explains: “In order to respect the new launch date for this ambitious title, and Darkworks having other obligations, we have mutually decided to complete development of I Am Alive at Ubisoft Shanghai, as the two studios have collaborated on aspects of the title over the past year.
The team at Darkworks has respected its contractual obligations on the project and will be a part of the success of the game when it launches.”
However, we have learned by echos in the industry that the first version of the game – that was shown secretly in house- was ‘far from satisfactory’.
