For some reason EA just can’t seem to keep its head out of the spotlight, but that doesn’t mean that it’s bad thing. Anyway, French publisher Infogrames, who is the parent of Atari, announced today that an EA Veteran, that was most likely recently laid off, has join their distribution team.
According to GameDaily, Jackie Fromion has joined the company as the head of its newly formed distribution business, which has temporarily been labeled “Distribution Partners.” The new distribution entity regroups the Asian and European operations and will be 34 percent owned by Namco Bandai.
“I am very pleased to welcome Jackie,” said Infogrames CEO David Gardner. “As head of the new distribution company, he will bring his dynamism, professionalism and experience to help us to grow the business and develop the strategy.”
Fromion comes to Infogrames from Electronic Arts where he managed France, Southern Europe and finally Label Brand Development for The Sims.
