Midway Announces TNA Impact 2

tna2 Midway Announces TNA Impact 2 has really been hit by some hard times during this downward summit of the economy, it’s about $240 million in debt. And it’s changing ownership giving the publisher’s debtors a chance to call in their loans. But if the publisher can endure this beating, it may find a “hot tag” waiting for it on the other side.

A Midway representative has confirmed to GameSpot that the publisher’s 2009 slate includes not only , but there is also plans for a second installment to the franchise. However, he did not address platforms or features for the game.

The first game was originally planned for a 2007 release but it had folded into Midway’s operations towards the end of the development cycle.

However, the first game was promised to be better then THQ’s Smackdown vs Raw series, but sadly the game couldn’t overcome it because of its almost super repetitive game-play. Anyway, speaking on it, let’s hope that this game will be better then the first. Hope to see some game-play soon.

    I really liked the first TNA game but some aspect of it were a let down i.e. match types, pin system, 1 finisher and the superstars attire was slightly out of date like Stings for example. I think this game has so much potencial and if really worked on properly could be as good if not better than WWE Smackdown vs RAW. I realise that the graphics are amazing and have been worked on hard but if you really want to do a good job then listen to the fans of TNA plus keep up to date with events in TNA The Suicide story was good but i feel a story line involving the Main Event Mafia would be more interesting, perhaps your created character or superstar has the choice weather to join them or not which could lead to 2 differen storylines. One more thing please make this game a online multi-player for more than 2 people in a match, i would have loved to have ultimate-x free for all matches online or tag team. Thanks :)

    Midway right now are going through some tough times, and I apologize about my past comments. TNA will be a success sooner or later in the wrestling video genre for the simple fact that the company itself was made for a video game. I wish both TNA and Midway games the very best in both there future decisions.

    Tna impact 2 should have suicide’s entrance the way his entrance is in real life and and the entrance’s should be longer.

    People seriously consider this. It was TNA’s very first game, you shouldn’t have expected it to beat SVR. Also all these things that you want to add, are almost impossible. Some of them are good and plausible but there is a certain line. You have to remember how much time, money, and ability they have.

    i hope the put all the knockouts in it and not just a few the beautiful people and kong better be in it and the moves botox ingextion ligst out implant buster beauty mark and let us play as them in story modes and in hardcore matches like laders sixs side of stell monsters ball and ladder matches as the do on tghe real show as for stupid divas no violance the knockouts rule

    When I heard about the TNA IMPACT game was going to be relesaed, I was so excited, and couldn't wait to get my hands on the game. I brought my game from game stop. That is like my 2nd home. I must say in all honesty it let me down. The main reason I love wrestling is for the WRESTLING BELTS. When I win the belt, I love to see me wearing it when I go to the ring.#1 let down, let down #2 , I was really looking foward to being PETIE WILLIAMS. I wanted to make him the 1st TNA CHAMPION. And he is one of my favorite TNA wrestlers. I love the CANADIAN DESTOYER. I never seen a move like that before, and thinkn it is a extra ordinary move.I wanted to win and defend the TNA Heavyweight Belt, the X Divsion Belt, the Tag Titles, and the Womens Title. I was looking forward to playing as Christy Hemmy, O.D.B. Awesome Kong , and the rest of the TNA Divas. I still play the fisrt TNA, I'm looking forward to the next TNA game to be better. PLEASE PUT WRESTLING BELTS, AND WRESTLING DIVAS.

    i am a huge tna fan and i think rthat all the recent activity in tna such as the tag team knockouts championship should ba an active part of the game. wwe added knockouts and so should tna

    Listen if Midway is going to create a wrestling they should contact AKI corporation or known as now Syn-Sophia. They have the best grappling system know to wrestling games. They revolutionized wrestling games. Midway will step it up, to me SvR isnt that good to begin with their whole entire game is just the show turned into a game thats all. If everyone backs me up…I would say the best wrestling games created were made by AKI corp. such as: WWF NO Mercy, WCW world tour, wrestlemania 2000, and etc. Midway if you contact this company and they sign a contract with you guys to do your TNA impact 2 you will surpass SvR. the 90's on the N64 wrestling games rocked and that is because it was ran AKI the best wrestling producer for grappling and gameplay. For all developers “Gameplay” is what matters not graphics…i still find my self playing on N64 and its in 64bit graphics not in HD, and i own PS3 and 360. Please Midway if you just play No Mercy and base you control scheme of that game and make your player models run as they do you will make a killing in sales, and touch all the hearts of True Wrestling Fans. Ps….UFC undisputed rocks..EA MMA dont got shit on your game…take care and please review this comment. Thank-you

    Dear Midway Tna impact need Long story mode and Championship Belt. They need to have kurt angle gold medal on second story mode and the winner should win them and make better story then suicide. Do like 6 story disign but long. I boughgt SVR 2010 The only think i liked was road to wrestlmania. PLEASE make the best TNA IMPACT 2.

    Lets it face it dude tna impact needs knockouts the way they push their women is crazy and not reflecting that in the games is just uncalled for, also they need alternate attires something to make a feeling that the game will stay fresh, need at least 40 characters come on now thats not asking for 2 much, every superstar has to have their own moveset kurt angle needs the belly to belly, angle slam, angle lock,etc. not aj styles moveset everyone needs their own specific moveset, and finally they need sumthing that i love personally how about gm mode svr got rid of it why not take it flip it nd make it better just some ideas…

    and the game was good not fantastic but a great start it was better start than the wwe start in 2000

    Can't wait for the next one hope they copy the story maker from wwe 2010

    i liked tna impact the game but there was no blood barely weapons…barely any of tna main matches….if tna impact 2 isnt good im done with tna games

    TNA can't make a game that is better than the WWE. The WWE is more advanced then TNA will ever be. If you look at the TNA roster most of their superstars were in past wwe games ,or were created in the WWE. TNA should stop taking wrestlers that are past the age of forty from the WWE. That is just sad. They can't take some rookies and make them big time stars like the WWE has done to Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, Rob Van Dam,Kevin Nash, Matt Morgan, Team 3D, and etc.The list goes on and on. If you watch the WWE you will see how the are taking talent from all over the world, and making them stars on NXT. If TNA wants a game that will sell millions the should have a WWE vs. TNA Series. Think about the talent that would be on this game. There will be dream matches like Sting vs. The Undertaker in a Last Ride match. Or Abyss vs. Kane(MASKED) in a Inferno match. This might sound crazy, but I promise you this game will sell MILLIONS and MILLIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
