Reports earlier on this week stated that Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon will not be releasing on the PlayStation 3 because of some “development issues”. This wasn’t the first time we have seen this happen with the PlayStation versions of a Destroy All Humans! game. But Eurogamer was still hell bent on figuring out what had going to happen to the European PS3 version of the game.
Yesterday, THQ clarified the situation with Destroy All Humans! Path of Furon to Eurogamer, saying that the PS3 version will be released in Europe after all.
“Destroy all Humans: Path of the Furon will be released on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 formats on February 13th 2009 across Europe,” he stated. “Due to the game being shipped earlier in North America on 2nd December a decision was made to proceed exclusively with the Xbox 360 format in that market.”
I’m going to go on a limb here, an say that there’s still alot of hope of a PS3 version of Destroy All Humans! Path of Furon in North America. They may just release it along side the European version of the game but one can always hope.
