Numerous amounts of Xbox 360 users have reported that their game has been freezing up after the 62 percent progress line, and their really not happy about it. The reports goes onto state that some users have managed to play 65 percent and even 84 percent, but even after that the game freezes up.

“I wonder can you sue a company for putting out a game this buggy?” said a GameFAQ’s member. “Those Ubisoft-****** should send a guy from their staff over here that plays the game till the point where I stopped when it froze. Seriously, I’m not playing 62% of the game again.” stated another one.

Far Cry 2 is a big rip-off. They shouldn’t sell games if they don’t work. I will never buy another game from these clowns. nuff said.

You are all a bunch of idiots you know that? You guys are complaining about the game when THE FU**ING XBOX HAD TO BO FIXED HOW MANY TIMES AND THEY STILL ARE HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH IT???? Get your thoughts together you mindless oafs and look at how many games can’t even run on the newer xbox 360 models. Yesterday I tried to play my fav game from the regular xbox. I didn’t have a problem when the 360 just came out but NOW I CAN’T PLAY IT WITHOUT MASSIVE LAG TIME. I SELECT AN ACTION AND IT LOOKS LIKE EIGHT BIT ANIMATION BECAUSE OF HOW LAGGY IT IS!!!!! MICROSOFT IS FU**ING THERE CUSTOMERS OVER NOT UBISOFT!!!!!

Zac SHUT THE F**K UP you little pussy! Its not the damn xbox because I have one of the newer ones and I have the same damn problem. Just because you found a way around this doesnt mean that there arnt still a load of angry people out there that feel cheated because they went out and spent their hard earned cash on some danm game that wont even let them beat it! Its not so much the fact that it has a bug, its that Ubisoft has tried to ignor this for so long. It is complete bulls**t! Get out of here Ubisoft fanboy!

i managed to get to 92% and now it wont load my gamesave, this is bullshit ive tried many troubleshooting techniques and still nothing, wow why do i even bother playing the 360 ive had troubles with other games too like mercenaries 2, burnout revenge and oblivion, they need to get their shit straight at microsoft or i wont play another 360 game again and ill tell everyone i know the same thing.

2011 they never did shit to fix,and as long we keep buying there crap ,they will keep selling it to us.i just reloaded 45 minof play,the new games are no change 2020 we will all be bitching about the same thing if we dont start doing something about it,i cant play dragon age with all the dlc because it buggers the the skin on other content???and they cant do afix.SOMEBODY NEEDS TO START A DEDICATED SITE ,or something of that nature.have you tried to play FABLE 3??, what a joke..glitch fest

It's not Microsoft who are to blame, it's Ubisoft! The game is known to freeze anywhere from 62%+ on all platforms.
I have heard that if you are playing on pc you can get around this by quicksaving, although quicksaving is not available on consoles.
The patch Ubisoft brought out does not fix this issue as this is the 2nd Far Cry 2 game I have bought (I thought I would give it another go since it is such a beautiful game – maybe the disk was faulty the first time?) this new version has all the updates and it still freezes past 62% making it IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPLETE!!
It must be some kind of nightmarish programming anomoly that would involve rewriting alot of code so Ubisoft abandoned the fix. A real shame too as I love all Ubisoft's games, a sequel to this would have earned them megabucks but now after all the hassle gamers have gone through I wouldn't expect anyone to be confident in a fully working Far Cry 3
