Resident Evil 5 Influenced By Bioshock
Bioshock has influenced many people’s look on video games, but little did we know that Bioshock was also influencing something big. When being interviewed by Computer and Video Games, Capcom’s Masachika Kawata admitted that Resident Evil 5 was heavily influenced by the popular underwater video game, Bioshock.
“It’s a classic game which really utilized the next gen power very well. The world is very strong and very believable, and the whole game was quite inspiring”.
He also continues to state that the game was also influenced by many other western gaming titles that they can’t talk about at this time, but they were “incorporated” into the game. The game is right now set to make its way on to consoles this March on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
