Today, Dave Mathews, project lead art director at Monolith, has revealed that the upcoming sequel F.E.A.R., Project Origin, has been delayed. The delay will last until the first quarter of 2009, the game was originally planned for a October first, of this year, release. The game takes place in the same world as it’s mother game, F.E.A.R., but it will not recognize Extraction Point or Perseus Mandate. The game will continue the story of a powerful psychic child named Alma, you know that crazy little girl that is always disappearing in to the corner of a hall. In the game you play as Michael Becket, a Delta Force operator whose squad is sent in to arrest Genevieve Aristide approximately thirty minutes before the ending of F.E.A.R.
