Rumor: Blockbuster Wants Game Preorder Exclusives
One of the writers of Kotaku “got into a long conversation” with a local Blockbuster manager, in there little chat the manager claimed that Blockbuster Video would be soon getting preorder exclusives. In the article it goes on to give the new source:
“The news was delivered via an alleged ex-GameStop executive at a managers’ meeting, where it was explained to them that GS was actually having to cancel some preorders as they could no longer guarantee copies on release.”
Does this mean that Blockbuster’s is trying to increase there focus on gaming? Maybe but, it’s just another rumor.
